Your job is to redesign The Nudge’s digital presence, from brand to UI/UX. You will work with our CEO and Chief Engineer.

Who we are

We believe happiness mainly comes from spending time with loved ones, exploring the world, and understanding ourselves. These things require a ton of initiative and planning. That is, unless we have a great planner friend.

So we built a “planner friend in your pocket,” an SMS-based lifestyle advisor that proactively nudges us to do the things we lack the initiative for, like sunrise hikes, creative dates and new workouts. We’re a viral sensation in San Francisco, with over 1/4 of female millennials as active members.

This is the beginning of our vision for digital planner friends that help us be better versions of ourselves. Digital tools that (unlike many of our peers) respect our time, dignity, and personal information.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Platform: Designing a platform across web and app that introduces The Nudge and helps users navigate to and sign-up for Nudge programs. Imagine other “family of programs” platforms like MasterClass, Calm, etc.
  • Landing pages: Designing a landing page template that explains how an individual SMS-based lifestyle advisor works and can be applied across all our programs
  • Rewards program: Designing a next-generation rewards program
  • Brand: Extending and elevating our brand aesthetic across all of this work

This work will involve product strategy, brand strategy, system mapping, UI/UX wireframes, aesthetic design and iteration based on user feedback.

Who you are

  • Formerly a lead designer on several consumer websites and/or apps that are live in the wild
  • A track record of excellence in both branding and UI/UX
  • Belief in our mission to empower people to live their best lives in a world where technology so often empowers us to be lazy
