vibrant culinary experience centered around sharing

and exploring diverse Latin American flavors.

The brand new Selva just opened in Dupont Circle,

and we immediately love the jungle themed decorations

It kind of reminded me of an elegant version of Rainforest Cafe,

We started off the evening with Selva’s amazing cocktails,

including their Isla Roja and the signature coco loco served in a fresh coconut.

They offer amazing cheese and charcuterie boards

with Spanish delicacies and Peruvian inspired ceviches.

You love the pulpo a la plancha with grilled octopus,

and my favorite dish was the Wagyu churrasco.

You also have to order the gazpacho with crab meat served tableside.

Every summer, the Marine Corps hosts a weekly Sunset Parade at the Marine Corps War Memorial (also known as the Iwo Jima Memorial). The parade includes musical performances by "The Commandant's Own," the Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, and precision drill by the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon.

The Marine Corps sunset Parade at the Iwo Jima Memorial in Rosslyn,

Arlington is one of the most unique summer events in the DC area.

The parade takes place on Tuesday evenings through the late spring and summer,

and there is one more parade for the Summer.

The ceremony features the commandment's own US Marine drum and

Bugle Corps and the US Marine Corps silent drill platoon,

Be sure to metro here and arrive early to see these unique performances.

known for its Vietnamese cuisine fused with the chef's Louisiana upbringing,

makes for such an amazing fine dining experience.

The presentation of everything here was incredible.

and won the Michelin Exceptional Cocktails Award,

I love that their matcha wasn't too sweet here.

The instructor went step by step to lead us through the painting of

a lady with a red umbrella in front of the US Capitol.

I love that our painting included a DC element in it.

Our instructor moved at a good pace and was

able to answer our questions throughout the class.

My fiance literally painted me in this class and it was super cute.
