• July is high blooming season and when the lavender will be at its most vivid colors. August is the high-fragrance season. During the high-fragrance season, the lavender will begin turning from purple to blue but equally beautiful!
• September is generally closed for harvest though check their website for accurate closing/opening dates.

• Bring some sturdy shoes – this is a farm and the trails are all unpaved.
• Your 75 minutes will run by fast so arrive a few minutes early to park and start exploring.

Most of these houses come loaded with everything you need for a fun river getaway.

so we enjoy both the spicy broth and a savory mushroom base.

Set up a portable burner or stove to simmer the broths and mix up your dipping sauces.

Then cook your choice of protein and veggies right at the table.

we also had a tea ceremony with some fresh green tea we picked up at H Mart.

Now it's time to head to Bolinas Ridge on Mount Tam.

There's tons of different spots along this road for a picnic,

Supplies and head to the trail across the road.

And don't forget to enjoy the view on the way up.

You'll see plenty of room at the top of the hill.

My favorite view overlooks Stinson Beach and the Pacific Ocean.

Now it's time to sit back and enjoy the view,

and don't forget to stay a few minutes after sunset for the best colors.
