• Aim to leave the city about 2 hours before sunset, and don’t let Karl fool you! If it’s foggy in the city, there’s a good chance you’ll be above the clouds for the picnic. 

💪 Pro tips
• Bring a small cooler bag or insulated tote to keep everything fresh as you head up the ridge- especially if you’re grabbing anything melty or creamy.

• There are no restrooms and cell service can be spotty, so go before you leave Mill Valley and download maps in advance 

💪 Pro tips
• Bring layers! It can get chilly fast up there, even in the summer. A lightweight blanket can also double as both seating and warmth. 
• There is parking located about .2 miles south of Rock Springs Trailhead

Now it's time to head to Bolinas Ridge on Mount Tam.

There's tons of different spots along this road for a picnic,

Supplies and head to the trail across the road.

And don't forget to enjoy the view on the way up.

You'll see plenty of room at the top of the hill.

My favorite view overlooks Stinson Beach and the Pacific Ocean.

Now it's time to sit back and enjoy the view,

and don't forget to stay a few minutes after sunset for the best colors.

• This room is built for teamwork! It accommodates up to 8 players, and you'll need to divide and conquer to beat the 60-minute timer.
• Don't be a hero, use your hints. If you get stuck on a puzzle for more than 5 minutes, ask your Game Guide for a nudge to keep the momentum going.
• Check every nook and cranny. The rustic theme means clues can be hidden in unexpected places like lanterns, tool chests, etc.
• Celebrate your escape (or near-miss) at one of the nearby spots in the Financial District to debrief on who solved the toughest puzzle.

and as soon as you step inside this cabin,

you realize this isn't your average game.

and the pressure is heavy from the first second.

We were scrambling to piece together codes,

and trying to outsmart the puzzles before the timer hits zero. One person is on the locks,

There's absolutely nothing like the rush of an adrenaline

you get when a hidden door finally pops open,

or you hear that final lock click with only seconds left.

Your heart is actually racing and you try to grab that last nugget and get out.

This was easily the highlight of our week.

With awesome views of the Salesforce Tower

and other buildings in the Financial District,

it's a perfect rooftop experience to bring friends,

a beautiful bar with tons of options on drinks,

and they even had a DJ who was setting the perfect vibe.

and then it was time to try the delicious food

all of which were full of flavor and were great options to share at the table.

and definitely my favorite part of the meal.

especially with the amazing views that we got being here.

There's a hidden museum in SF where you can try operating a streetcar,

It's tucked just a block away from the Ferry Building.

but packed with real pieces of SF history,

innovation has always been part of the city.

there's a replica of a streetcar in the back.

The staff can show you how it all works and even let you try operating it yourself.

I realized just how physical this job is.

props to the staff who are so passionate about this stuff,

like talking to them feels like chatting with your neighbor who knows everything.

• It gets windy, bring a layer even if it feels warm elsewhere
• Check the weather, fog can completely change the view.
• Go earlier or closer to sunset for the best lighting.

• Walk down toward the ruins, not just the overlook, it is worth it.
• Trade photo services with a stranger! Offer to take their photo & request that they take yours. These memories are priceless. 
• Take your time here, this is more about the experience than rushing through.

💪 Pro tips

• If you like crispy, salty fries, maybe hold off on these. I LOVE the milkshakes and of course the burgers are fantastic. 
• Order off the “secret menu” if you know what you want, animal style is the go to.

While the one hotel in San Francisco is absolutely stunning,

the most rewarding part of my stay was the Audi experience.

I decided to take a trip to the sutro baths at

the Land's End lookout and it was the most stunning.

It was absolutely a coastal dream with stunning wildflowers and

it was a really special treat to see waves that are actually taller than myself.

This experience really made my stay at the 11 to remember.

And the only money I ended up spending was at

In N-Out because I simply could not help myself.

Highly recommend checking it out next time you're in SF.
