Are you looking for something fun to do in The Bay?

you're in luck because Friday nights at the Oakland Museum are back.

These happen every Friday and there's so many activities to do.

Make sure to leave room in your stomach because

I got the garlic noodles and the Vietnamese chicken from Bombzies

and my parents got chicken tenders from the Respectable Bird,

There's also a DJ and live music and people are welcome to dance their hearts out.

I also highly recommend taking some time and

checking out the special exhibits while you're there.

We went to the Black Spaces: Reclaim and Remain gallery.

You do need a separate ticket for the special exhibits,

It showcases resilience within black American communities

The rest of the event is completely free and will run until the end of October.

but I recommend bringing a picnic blanket and getting there

Nakama is a cozy restaurant specializing in sushi and skewers.

though out of all the desserts we shared,

my favorite by far was the salted egg bing su.

They've also got variations of brick toast,

the Thai tea ice cream tastes exactly on point.

Save this for a casual post-work gathering.
