I recently went on such a fun and festive date night

and I'm going to show you exactly how to do it.

It's happening at the Woodland Park Zoo from now until January 22nd. It was so cool.

Everywhere you look, there's something beautiful.

There are these funky trees, there's an infinity mirrors room.

I loved it, we will definitely be back next year.

Then we jumped in the car and headed to Olympic Manor.

They should honestly get an award for all their holiday lights

of these houses that requires them to put up

lights because every single house was decked out.

We also brought a thermos of hot chocolate,

This pizza was so big it tried to be a third wheel on a date night.

Last Friday we explored Rocco's on 2nd Avenue.

It turned out to be the kind of place with low lighting,

and the smell of garlic and melted cheese in the air.

we had the cheesy garlic herb focaccia with marinara sauce.

It raised our expectations for the pizza to be even more satisfying,

Our half jalapeno face and half tikka tikka pizza arrived,

The chicken tikka hit all the right notes for Indian taste buds,

while the jalapeno face with all the cream cheese bread

crumbs really took the pizza to the next level.

• The property is almost all grass, so I’d recommend flat shoes! 👟

But if you want to, there's some great spots to visit nearby! You'll be within about 1-1.5 hours of Mt Rainier and Mt St Helens, so lots of hiking options!
