Ride the Roosevelt Island Tramway for mesmerizing sunset views across the East River, only costing a MetroCard swipe.

✅ Before you go:
•  The tram is on 60th St & 2nd Ave, so once you get there, walk around the back to climb the stairs to the station
•  The tram takes MetroCards & costs the same as a subway ride ($2.75)

💪 Pro tip:
• Catch the tram around sunset to get the most beautiful sprawling views of the city in every direction 
• There are two trams, so you won’t have to wait long for one
• Hop on the first one that comes, wait for it to fill up (same rules as the subway), then get your phone ready for the quick - but stunning - 5 minute trip over the water!

• The drinks are expensive, but tbh, we each nursed a drink for an entire hour without a problem, so it doesn’t have to get too crazy $$
• While you’re there, wander around the space, take some photos out on the balcony, and enjoy a vantage point you don’t have anywhere else in the city
• When you're finished up, you can ride the tram or the F train back to Manhattan

Tavern on the Green 🐎 

I took it back to an NYC Classic for my birthday dinner in March,

institution and a fave treat yourself spot for me.

Aside from its gorgeous architecture and layout,

it boasts some phenomenal food and service.

We immediately gravitated towards some classic drinks

and the veggies and salads were fantastic as well.

some of the best cheesecake I've ever tasted,

but we were also greeted by a giant birthday cake slice, as an added surprise.

The waiter even made me a decaf espresso martini so that I could avoid caffeine.

there's this quirky little galactic show happening at

a planetarium uptown on City College's campus.

Important detail because somehow there are 3 planetariums in Manhattan.

Bonus points if you rock a star necklace.

There's this physics professor who takes you on

which I guess I had the appropriate outfit on for,

facts about the world to let whoever or whatever

finds it know what we're like here on Earth.
