• Flourbox opens at 10am Thurs-Sun, so plan to show up around then, if not earlier, to ensure you get to try all the flavors
• You’ll be waiting in line outside, but it’s not too bad if you dress for the weather :)

🚗 Transportation:
• They have a small parking lot (free) and there’s street parking along Rainier Ave. The earlier you go the better

💪Pro tips: 
• While your friends hold a spot in line, grab coffee next door at Onda Origins Cafe!
• Flourbox lines can be different each day but check their instagram for real-time updates on how many donuts are left
• While you’re in line, the staff will update the donut count and let you know if they may run out before they reach you. Their estimates are usually pretty spot on!
• Didn’t get lucky? Don’t worry! There are plenty more pastry options to satisfy your sweet tooth like Columbia City Bakery and The Flora Bakehouse

• The line can get pretty long to order, so make a friend while you wait in line.
• Bring plenty of sunscreen.

Return your rented paddle board at E Louisa St shoreline in Eastlake. Relax in beach chairs or explore nearby public waterfront spots after your paddle adventure.

Return your paddle

The weather is finally starting to get warmer in Seattle,

so come with me to paddle board to a brewery in South Lake Union.

but I ended up renting one from this self-service locker in East Lake.

There's a QR code on the locker service that explains everything.

It's super simple once you take out the paddle board,

you close it back up and then you're able to launch from the beach area.

I would say it's about a 15 minute paddle over.

the scariest part was just crossing the lake because of all the other boats,

but Luckily there weren't that many this day,

You're able to paddle right up to the brewery and leave your paddle on the dock.

and they're always playing bumping music.

I've had the nachos before that are pretty good.

I also randomly ran into one of my friends,

We stayed for maybe 1 hour and then I had to start

heading back because I was renting by it the half hour,

headed back to our boards and got right back to the water.

I was nervous about the return process for the paddle board,

I used the link they sent me and was able to unlock the locker,

put the paddle back in along with the oar and the life jacket,

It was such a lovely way to spend an afternoon and I honestly can't wait to do it again.

• Have fun! There are so many different tools to try! I probably finished my painting — and then ruined it — and then finished it again three times before I ended up with my finished piece! 🤪

One of the most fun parts about this is you can get the entire room dirty.

You don't have to be careful or try to keep anything clean.

And the best part is you get to take your art home same day.
