DIY your own 🍣 at home

What up Nudgers? You hungry? How about a DIY sushi at home night. Sounds good?

This Asian specialty store carries all ingredients

you will need to create the perfect sushi roll.

I just need to pick up some rice vinegar, some seaweed paper,

some sushi roll mats and rice seasoning to get the party started 

Now that I have all my ingredients and I'm gonna be making this sushi my way.

I wanted to make sure the shrimp was flavorful. So I had to zhuzh it up a little bit. 

After waiting about 12-15 minutes for my rice to cook it was

now time to add my rice seasoning and cut up my shrimp.

Now that's what I'm talking about with flavor.

Now of course I had to ask the lovely ladies at the

shop where to start, how to roll, what rice to use.

But again this is DIY... so who cares! Add as many or as few ingredients as you want. 

And bon appetit all you have to do to start your own party is pick a night,

There's a new record bar and cocktail lounge in town,

and I already have another res booked because I loved it that much.

you feel like you're in a record shop from the 90s,

complete with spinning vinyl all night long.

and we got to be the first ones to experience their second ever tasting menu,

which is 3 cocktails and bites inspired by an album they love.

it's the 2001 album "Discovery" by Daft Punk,

and I'm not super familiar with the album,

We started with a gorgeous welcome cocktail and then

immediately got into the Karaage style menu of bites.

I have literally dreamed about these marinated cucumbers ever since.

The onigiri was also delicious and the presentation was overall gorgeous.

The drinks themselves were delicious and fun.

And the last one was served in a vintage Coke bottle.

I loved all of the creative touches throughout.
