out with some very stylish baby goats. During class,

the instructors would literally hand us goats to hold and mid pose

beginner friendly summertime themed block printing class at Monica's porch.

Monica's porch is a studio where art meets spirituality,

and for summertime they have all kinds of

cool classes like this block printing workshop.

Everyone gets a little tote bag and gets a mini

lesson on how to carve your own stamp print.

you can choose from any of the summertime themed stamps.

I chose a stencil because I don't have the most precise hands.

The stencils made it super easy to trace and carve and voila,

look at my little ice cream stamp that I made.

You then get to customize your own paint color.

I wanted my ice creams to match my shirt.

This color felt very summertime vibes to me,

and she guides you step by step on creating the best friend,

This class is a great way to beat the heat,

and create something that is actually useful and cute.

Make Your Way to Firehouse Lounge

If you would enjoy a fun evening filled with live music and delicious food and drinks, then this is the plan for you.

First, head over to the East End Ballroom.

It's a bar and restaurant in East Austin.

They have a large indoor space with a pool table, TVs and plenty of seating.

They also have a spacious outdoor courtyard with a stage for live music.

First, I recommend getting food and drinks.

On Wednesdays, they offer a $5 Wagyu Smash-Burger and $5 Old Fashioned specials.

It's an unbelievable deal and the food is absolutely delicious.

After you finish eating, enjoy the show as they offer live music all night long.

Next, make your way to Firehouse Lounge through its hidden entrance.

It's a speakeasy style cocktail bar on 6th Street with plenty of seating options.

Personally, I recommend to keep the drinks flowing as they make great cocktails here.

Feel free to get up and dance when the music comes on too.

If you’re looking for an activity along the water which is budget friendly and some refreshments along the lake, then this plan is for you! The heat is now on and anything that can refresh us is welcome. Head around Lake Travis and enjoy a leisure time and some good drinks!

We opted for the Pedal Kayak which was $30/hour for each person and honestly 1hour was enough 😉
Their price range from $20-$30/hr depending on the activity you choose.

💪 Pro tips

• Wear waterproof shoes as you will be paddling and water will get in.
• Bring waterproof case for your phone as well as they don’t have a special safe for your phone in the kayaks. They do rent dry bags in case you need it.
• Bring your swimsuit as this is a no wake zone and you can jump into the water.

**If you brought swimsuits to the paddle place, you will want to have additional clothing as the restaurant requires shirts and shoes on.**

• Get the mimosas as you will definitely enjoy it after some time in the water.

I got the perfect water activities with some refreshment.

Let's head around Lake Travis at Austin paddle board and kayak.

We had so much fun just enjoying the water and then paddling.

Wear waterproof shoes or swimsuit if you want to jump in.

This is a perfect leisure activity on the water.

then head for some refreshment at Lighthouse Restaurant and Lounge.

This is a beautiful restaurant with a lakeside view.

It is 25 minutes away from the paddle place,

Upon the entrance you will find this cool map

where people visiting point out where they're all from.

which is definitely perfect in this heat,
