Enjoy alpaca yoga at TX-Ture Farm

You're probably wondering how I got on a yoga mat in a field full of alpacas.

I made a trip out to TX-ture Farm in Aubrey, Texas just to see if it was worth it – and it is!

we were greeted by the cutest puppies who introduced

alpaca yoga is just so next-level. They won't jump on you or anything,

We had a 365º degree view of alpacas snacking all around us while we did a vinyasa flow

that you're definitely gonna feel in the morning afterward.

We got to hand feed the alpacas and get to know their funny personalities.

The owner of the farm knows every single one of them by name.

we celebrated with a complimentary glass of

their lavender champagne from their lavender fields

and they actually host a lavender festival that I can't wait to go to.

Don't miss the gift shop. It's definitely worth checking out.

You can buy so many goodies made from alpaca

fibers and lavender. I may just become a regular here.

This little spot is located about 20 miles northeast of Dallas in Rockwall,

we got to hang out with all my favorite animals- calves,

and fun date night full of little surprises.

There was even this one cute and feisty camel that definitely had some opinions.

We had way too much fun at Lakewood Breweing Company! They have a wide selection of beer, their food was great, and they have a TON of seating! Their beer garden is huge and they have a stage for live music. I can’t wait to have a group hangout here with my friends! 🍻

Lakewood Brewing Co.

Me and my bestie had way too much fun at Lakewood Brewing Company.

This is a family owned and independent tap

room where they handcraft small batch beers.

There's a lot of room for seating and their brewery is insanely huge,

but we had to check out their beer garden

Immediately and we discovered there is so much room for activities.

so we got to sipping and then we started our adventures.

We checked out this really cool mural and we had some fun with this keg cart

but there was a A ton of seating outside and some really fun games too,

and they also have a stage where they play live music.

All of this running around worked up an appetite,

so we got their flatbread and their pretzel,

So pair your beer with some of their menu items.

This spot was huge and affordable and great for a group hangout,

so grab your besties and head to Lakewood Brewing Company.

Taking advantage of this beautiful spring weather means going back to The Floral Bar for another epic Craft Night! This craft night’s theme was Garden of Versailles and everything was STUNNING. Our instructor Nikki was so much fun and she masterfully led our class to creating the most whimsical floral arrangements!

Craft Night

I think we can all agree that we're having

the most beautiful spring in Dallas this year,

so I had to take advantage and go to another craft night at the floral bar,

We have the most beautiful vase and floral arrangement and don't forget,

Our incredible instructor Nikki led this craft night and I love that

I already had some of the tips and tricks from last time,

like cutting off the stems and pulling off some of the

greenery so our flowers could stay fresh and last longer.

My favorite part about this class was learning

how to add roses to our floral arrangement.

So we started by playing a little game of He loves me,

he loves me not by picking off old petals to the roses.

Then we got to learn how to make them fuller.

or you can just manually pull out the petals and it becomes this really full rose.

I love how this craft night had some of the most whimsical flowers I've ever seen,

and I love how different it was from my previous experience.

I am obsessed with the floral bar and how creative they are.

I’ve always LOVED Dock Local, so I was so excited to check out their Dock N Roll Flight! It comes with mini versions of their iconic rolls (2 Maine Lobster Rolls, 2 Connecticut Rolls, & 2 Lobster Grinders). We popped on over to the exchange hall because we had

to check out Dock Local's iconic Dock N Roll flight.

It was a perfect ratio of meat and sauce,

and my personal favorite was the lobster grinder.

everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection,

but beware because it is just a little bit spicy.
