💪 Pro tips:
• Park at the Spyglass entrance at Barton Creek Greenbelt
• Follow the trail until you reach a large open area called The Flats (it'll show up on Google Maps for reference)
• Once you’ve reached The Flats, continue walking downstream on the east side of the creek
• After about 1/2 of a mile, you will come upon a worn path leading upward to the cave - follow this path upward to the cave and climb inside!

The best feeling is when you stumble upon a hidden gem in your own neighborhood,

my group and I were looking for a place after dinner one night,

The bartender told us about this unique drink that they have called the coquito,

and it was the perfect vibe for a Friday night.

There was a DJ playing Latin music both inside and outside on the patio.

This easy hike will reward you with a beautiful overlook water and delicious Tacos! The overlook Park is free and offers a beautiful nature and it’s easy to walk with no difficulties. Located in Georgetown, this can be an easy road day trip to enjoy the nature on this side of Austin if you’re not closed.

If you’re in Austin, Overlook Parl will be about 45min- 1hour from you. 
• The overlook Park is a no cliff/jumping park.
• Fishing is allowed.
• Dogs are allowed. 

💪 Pro tips

• Make sure you use the address provided as this is around San Gabriel trail and there are many over parks along. The address provided will get you straight to the trail. 
• Wear comfortable shoes. Some part are rocky but not hard at all. 
• Take pictures on the bridge. It’s beautiful!!
• Also take pictures along the rocky side! Those will make great portraits!

Overlook Park: Plan Your Visit

After your easy water hike, refuel at Birriera Mama Rosa with flavorful pastor and ribeye tacos just 5 minutes from Overlook Park in Georgetown.

Birriera Mama Rosa is located at about 5min drive from overlook park. They offer delicious tacos and other options and drinks for you to relax after your hike. 

💪 Pro tips
I recommend getting the pastor and ribeye tacos! They were super tasty, you won’t regret it!

then let's head to Georgetown with this beautiful nature.

Park right in front and you're ready to start the hike.

You can see the flower blooming along the way,

so that was definitely perfect to enjoy this beautiful view.

Take advantage of the free tickets offered every Tuesday and go see this interactive and cool exhibit display at the Blanton Museum of Art. This exhibit will both feed your curiosity and interest in data. Each display has unique information you can interact with. Grab your friend, family, and kids and enjoy it!

• To take advantage of the free tickets, go online to Blanton Museum of Art and register for Tuesday Tickets. 
• There are many exhibit happenings and this particular one is Run the Code.

💪 Pro tips
• The easiest and closest garage to Blanton Museum is the Brazos Garage. It’s cheaper and will get you straight to the museum.
• To avoid too much traffic at the museum, plan to visit around 11am or 3-4 pm.
• Take pictures with the stacked water at the entrance. Better pictures are around the corner of the stacked water or in the stairs. 
• Make sure to visit the atrium with the lights installations which is right outside Blanton.
• Also take pictures with the outside landscape with the Capitol behind you.

- There's some hiking so bring trail shoes or hiking shoes
