• I recommend going after a good rain so that the falls are flowing
• This trail is dog-friendly!

💪 Pro tips 
• Halfway through the trail there is a creek crossing, so definitely wear shoes you don't mind getting wet and muddy (Chacos are my favorite)! 
• There are tons of little streams and waterfalls along this trail, but the largest is Link Falls, which is about .5 mi into the hike from the parking lot

Hike to Link Falls at Bull Creek

Austin doesn't really have a ton of waterfalls,

but this spot is definitely one of the best near the city.

First stop at Coffee Shark to fuel up. I love a good ice vanilla latte,

This is one of my favorite trails near Austin

because there are tons of little waterfalls along the way.

But the biggest one is Link Falls. It's so peaceful here.

I have been on the hunt to find the best views of downtown Austin,

and this rooftop on top of the JW Marriott is exactly that.

Coming at sunset was absolutely breathtaking.

and it is 100% the best spot to watch the sunset.

The star of the show for me was definitely the Wagyu burger,

and we ordered a pizza and it came straight delivered to our table,

Horseback riding at Southern Trails

This was one of the coolest things we've done near Austin,

horseback riding across a creek and through some trees,

and then we got to hang out with this adorable baby cow.

We drove about 30 minutes out of the city to Southern Trails Ranch.

and then we got instructions on how to get on.

We started out slow going through the trees and then we crossed this creek.

My horse was not into the water at first,

some snacks before heading over to meet Wilmington,

We got to give him lots of snacks and took him for a

little walk and just pet him and gave him all the love.

This whole experience was so unique and peaceful and so memorable.
