Explore Malibu Creek State Park on a 2-mile flat hike to a rock pool surrounded by volcanic rock and beautiful wildflowers, ideal for hiking and rock climbing.

Hiking

✅ Before you go
• Parking is $12 for the day, but we opted for two hour parking for $6 (card accepted) 
• We didn’t need one, but if you want to buy a paper map, it’s $2 (cash only)
• Follow the Main Trailhead to the rock pool! The route is almost entirely flat and ~2 miles total. All Trails: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/rock-pool-and-century-lake-trails

💪 Pro tips
• Malibu Creek State Park is a popular spot for rock climbing/bouldering if you’re into that 
• Fun fact: 70’s show M*A*S*H and Planet of the Apes filmed at Malibu Creek State Park

Hike through Malibu Creek State Park

Here's your plan to check out an easy hike

through wildflowers leading you to a rock pool.

So first follow the main trailhead and walk

a straightforward route before reaching a creek.

The path is relatively flat and around two miles total.

The views are so stunning and you will not feel like you're in L A.

After walking around a mile, you'll find the pool surrounded by volcanic rock.

We didn't go in but we saw some people jumping off cliffs and floating around

when you're ready, Walk around one mile back to the start of the trail,

invite a friend and check out this incredible spot.

• bring your own yoga mat and water bottle! This flow is about 45 minutes, and while it isn’t crazy challenging it does break a sweat! 
• Ettore was started by the owners of LA’s famed Osteria Mamma and is the largest sit down restaurant at The Original Farmer’s Market. They’re located in the back at booth 120, and have their own outdoor patio with views of the clock tower 😍
• definitely try the flatbreads, and don’t forget to validate your parking before you leave! 🚗

Welcome to Malibu's Wine and Beer Garden,

a family-owned winery that grows their own grapes and

produces wine at Saddle Rock Ranch in Malibu.

but the perfect way to romanticize your weekend.

We ordered a wine flight and ended up finding our new favorite,

We also grabbed bagels from our favorite spot,

who recently partnered with the winery and will be there every Sunday through July.
