At Union Larder, enjoy exceptional wines with no reservations required. Indulge in their extensive food menu, featuring delightful cheese selections and exquisite fondue.

End your wine tour at Waystone with happy hour or Wednesday wine tastings. Try special drinks like the Mommenpop Grapefruit Spritz!

• Waystone offers a happy hour from 4-6PM every day, and on Wednesdays they host a wine tasting of six wines for $40, anytime from 4-10PM 
• Be sure to check their board of specials, as they have delicious drinks which don’t always appear on the menu (like the Mommenpop Grapefruit Spritz!)

you prefer a good wine bar and cheese over a chaotic bar any day.

So, here are my favorite spots to wine bar-hop around Russian Hill.

at Amélie on Polk. They have a wine flight happy hour every day from 4 to 6,

and you get to pick which wines you want to try.

The ambiance there is so moody and it has this fun European aesthetic which I adore. 

Next, you'll make your way up the hill to Union Larder. 

They have a fabulous menu and a really high quality wine selection.

I always opt for the orange wine and we couldn't skip out on the marinated olives.

Finally, you'll make your way down the hill towards North Beach to Waystone.

The spot is newer and showcases local art, serves wine,

beer, and ciders, as well as this gorgeous grapefruit 

we got charcuterie and we enjoyed a night-cap to round out the evening.

If you treat this like a bar-crawl, you're probably gonna need a nap by now,

but each of these spots are amazing on their own any night of the week!

Here's your plan for a weekend getaway to wine country.

You're head about 2.5 hours northeast to the El Dorado Hills.

This beautiful region is home to over 70 wineries,

and tastings typically cost around $15 per person,

and our tasting took place right in the middle of their charming garden.

the staff walked us through each wine that was poured,

but the Zinfandalle was a clear standout.

we made our to Fenton Herriott Vineyards,

where we enjoyed their wine and bocce ball courts,

all by taking in the stunning vineyard views.

Their Barbera was definitely our favorite.

some mouthwatering pizza and a refreshing pint.

now all that's left to do is share this plane with your crew and hit the road!

learning new hobbies like pottery and overall,

tucked into San Francisco's quiet Inner Richmond neighborhood.

Our instructor wasted no time diving into what

we would be creating a full breakfast set,

thoughtful demo showing us the basic hand-building

techniques we need and laying out all the tools and clay we'd be using.

We brought our own mushroom molds from home and it

was really cool pressing them gently into the clay,

sipping tea from Something you made yourself.

Everything felt accessible and low pressure,

We then were instructed on how to make our spoons.

I found the perfect workshop for anyone who loves

sweets and getting a little artsy along the way.

Olesia hosts the most dreamy vintage heart cake workshops in the Mission.

and there are even mimosas and light bites to enjoy during class.

and then you're walked through each step,

which was actually a lot harder than I expected.

You then learn three different piping techniques and are given

the freedom to experiment and make your cake your own.

I was told mine was giving Ursula vibes from The Little Mermaid,

I've never decorated a cake like this before,

but I loved being creative and also leaving with a sweet treat I was proud of.
