Enjoy a Pancake Breakfast at the West Point Inn 

Sometimes you just need a really good reason to get up early on a weekend

So how about a short beautiful hike that leads you straight

to a remote pancake breakfast at a hundred year old Inn.

Map to Rock Spring Trailhead on Mount Tam and park in the lot on your left hand side.

When you're ready to hit the trail, walk right past the mountain amphitheater

you'll hike for around 45 minutes following Rock Spring Trail the whole way.

Be sure to look for the city in the distance before you make it to your destination,

And now comes the hard part - waiting in line for pancakes.

I'll be honest, it does take a while, but it's worth it.

These breakfasts are fundraisers for the Inn and they happen on the

second Sunday of the month from May to October every year.

This place is pretty off the grid and you can only really get to it by hiking

That and the insane views are definitely what makes it so special.

Enjoy the live music and great vibes while you wait,

then find a place to hang out and enjoy your breakfast outside.

I was so stoked to eat some amazingly fresh fruit on this very hot day.

and if you're lucky, you might actually run into a play happening at the theater,

and as soon as you step inside this cabin,

you realize this isn't your average game.

and the pressure is heavy from the first second.

We were scrambling to piece together codes,

and trying to outsmart the puzzles before the timer hits zero. One person is on the locks,

There's absolutely nothing like the rush of an adrenaline

you get when a hidden door finally pops open,

or you hear that final lock click with only seconds left.

Your heart is actually racing and you try to grab that last nugget and get out.

This was easily the highlight of our week.

and then it was time to try the delicious food

all of which were full of flavor and were great options to share at the table.

and definitely my favorite part of the meal.

especially with the amazing views that we got being here.

It's tucked just a block away from the Ferry Building.

but packed with real pieces of SF history,

innovation has always been part of the city.

there's a replica of a streetcar in the back.

The staff can show you how it all works and even let you try operating it yourself.

I realized just how physical this job is.

like talking to them feels like chatting with your neighbor who knows everything.

While the one hotel in San Francisco is absolutely stunning,

the most rewarding part of my stay was the Audi experience.

I decided to take a trip to the sutro baths at

the Land's End lookout and it was the most stunning.

It was absolutely a coastal dream with stunning wildflowers and

it was a really special treat to see waves that are actually taller than myself.

This experience really made my stay at the 11 to remember.

And the only money I ended up spending was at

In N-Out because I simply could not help myself.

Highly recommend checking it out next time you're in SF.
