💪 Pro tips

• Plan better than I did (especially if you’re a woman of color) and wash your hair in advance to save the time when you get there
• Bring your own shampoo if you don’t want to use what they provide 
• The post-float shower is important – be sure to thoroughly rinse (especially your face) if you don’t want to have leftover salt stuck to the side of your face lol 
• We were in a single float tank for the content, but the larger one comfortably fits two 
• I wished I’d thugged it out a little longer on the cold plunge – I’ve heard it has great benefits – so hang in there if you can

If you need me, I'll be here floating and depriving my senses… if you're confused

Don't worry. I was too before doing this, but I heard great things about float tanks

I'm a big fan of treating myself like almost to a fault

We grabbed some CBD drinks for the ultimate relaxation

and the staff gave us a tour of the facility. 

just like the opportunity to relax this place as you covered.

a cold plunge and infrared sauna room and several other services.

After we showered, we plugged our ears and got on in.

So the float cabin holds like 1100lbs of epsom salt

which is why you're able to float effortlessly.

It's giving the dead sea without having to travel.

The magnesium sulfate acts as a muscle relaxer,

anti inflammatory and a detoxification agent and it's hella relaxing.

Eventually, we were brave enough to close the cabin door for the full experience.

But don't worry, you can opt to keep the lights on.

After our float we headed to the fire and ice room to push all sorts of boundaries.

My girl here got in so gracefully and handled it like an actual champ.

Me, on the other hand, I hate being cold, but I also hate to feel like a loser.

So I managed for approximately 0.3 seconds just to be able to say I did it.

which was obviously warm but also really cool because you

can watch an actual show during your sweat sesh.

we walked just around the corner to Feng Cha for another little treat.

I got the Thai iced tea and she got a Vietnamese iced coffee

and it was just what we needed to round out the day.

bellagreen has new seasonal menu items every quarter,

and everything on their menu is made from scratch.

We also love trying out their fountain machine and all the different flavors.

They also have a ton of different wine available,

and it went well with everything we ordered.

Natalie got their healthy take on a chicken parm.

but my favorite was definitely the spicy shrimp pasta.

we had to try the lemon crumble bar and oh my God,

I can't believe they make everything from scratch.

Messina Hof Winery

RYown art gallery located in Grapevine has some of

the coolest contemporary art that I have ever seen.

We had so much fun walking around this gallery looking at all of

the incredible artwork and learning a little bit more about the artists.

There's a room in the back of the gallery that holds so many other really cool pieces.

They also have a nice table if you wanted to do

a group meeting or a nice couch to relax on.

There's another little room with some prints you could buy,

but my favorite artist that I saw here was Mary Schmidt.

and it was really so much fun interpreting the different

meanings behind each piece of artwork in the gallery.

They do really fun art shows once a month.

but be sure to buy some artwork and prints on your way out.

we wanted to check out Messina Hof Winery.

• I had so much fun getting lost in the Mirror Maze and going on a little ride in the 7D Moving Theatre. The Wax museum was shocking, and the museum was filled with fun and wacky attractions.  

Ripley’s Believe it or Not!

this was my very first time at Ripley's and I had the most perfect summer day.

But we made our way to the super pretty rainbow twinkling lights,

We walked down this yellow brick road and Elpheba,

so you could bring cash to play some of those.

and then we went to the 7D movie theater and it was so much fun.

Now this Ripley's Believe It or Not museum had so many fun and wacky attractions.

There were also a ton of Interactive experiences

like walking through this trippy black hole,

We really love the frozen shadow attraction along with the floating balls,

but we did spend a ton of time dancing in front of this projector.

so I was having the time of my life and we watched the entire experience.

Olivella’s Dinner

Transport to Italy without booking a flight by visiting the incredible Olivellas.

Olivella's is a pizza and wine shop that makes you feel like you've escaped to Italy,

and whatever wine you may be looking for,

They also have a great deal on Tuesdays for 50% off bottles.

Now we have a ton of food and wine pairings to get into,

The bruschetta sampler had the most amazing balsamic glaze,

and the mama's meatballs were to die for,

The first one is the Pancetta Neapolitan,

and it paired super well with the Valpolicella red wine.

and it pairs nicely with the Old Soul Sauvignon Blanc.

Now this Icardi Barbera red wine went really well

with the delicious margarita pizza and the lasagna.

So if you want to do a little pizza pasta combo,

It's so good and it pairs with the Sophia Rose Rosé.

and this Olema Chardonnay goes so well with the ravioli.

This was actually Jayce’s favorite pasta.

Jayce also really liked the chicken pesto linguini

that paired with the Verdicchio white wine.

limoncello cheesecake and the most amazing tiramisu.
