💪 Pro tips

• Plan better than I did (especially if you’re a woman of color) and wash your hair in advance to save the time when you get there
• Bring your own shampoo if you don’t want to use what they provide 
• The post-float shower is important – be sure to thoroughly rinse (especially your face) if you don’t want to have leftover salt stuck to the side of your face lol 
• We were in a single float tank for the content, but the larger one comfortably fits two 
• I wished I’d thugged it out a little longer on the cold plunge – I’ve heard it has great benefits – so hang in there if you can

Don't worry. I was too before doing this, but I heard great things about float tanks

I'm a big fan of treating myself like almost to a fault

We grabbed some CBD drinks for the ultimate relaxation

and the staff gave us a tour of the facility.

So the float cabin holds like 1100lbs of epsom salt

which is why you're able to float effortlessly.

The magnesium sulfate acts as a muscle relaxer,

anti inflammatory and a detoxification agent and it's hella relaxing.

Eventually, we were brave enough to close the cabin door for the full experience.

But don't worry, you can opt to keep the lights on.

After our float we headed to the fire and ice room to push all sorts of boundaries.

My girl here got in so gracefully and handled it like an actual champ.

Me, on the other hand, I hate being cold, but I also hate to feel like a loser.

So I managed for approximately 0.3 seconds just to be able to say I did it.

which was obviously warm but also really cool because you

can watch an actual show during your sweat sesh.

we walked just around the corner to Feng Cha for another little treat.

I got the Thai iced tea and she got a Vietnamese iced coffee

and it was just what we needed to round out the day.

Catbird is definitely one of the best bars in Dallas! My absolute favorite drink was the Oko Ono, if you go you HAVE to try it out. They have a great DJ, a patio with a beautiful view, and the perfect aesthetic to go with the most perfect cocktails.

Catbird has to be one of the coolest bars in all of Dallas,

and I was so excited to finally get the chance to hop on over and check it out.

She got the origamos and I got the catbird,

Dani also really loved these spicy shrimp tacos.

Everyone kept telling me my dress matched the bathroom,

and they have a really nice bar and outdoor patio if you're waiting for your table.

We ended our evening with a haiku cocktail and a nitro espresso martini.

We kicked off our brunch with this mimosa carafe,

and we got these yummy deviled eggs as an appetizer.

The star of our brunch was this rhinestone Cowboy.

It is a vodka-based drink with two Red Bulls,

I've been thinking about it every single day since,

and it made for the perfect meal while the drag queens went around and put on a show.

If you're going to come to the drag brunch,

please do not forget to tip your drag queens

I also saw my very first drag king who was impersonating my man,

drag brunch is on the 2nd Sunday for the next couple of months.

We ended our meal with this delicious slice of chocolate cake.

I loved how rich and earthy that pizza was.

Of course we could not skip out on dessert.
