Head to the Navy Pier Beer Garden for Live on the Lake!

Okay, I finally found something worth braving the Navy Pier tourists for.

Take a stroll down Navy Pier to find the beer garden,

which hosts a free summer concert series called Live On the Lake! every weekend.

We grabbed drinks and posted up in these colorful picnic chairs to watch the band.

But the music was so good, we couldn't stay sitting for long.

I loved the energy that the musicians brought and

this lady dancing put the hugest smile on my face.

And of course, we couldn't leave the pier without getting a rainbow cone.

I usually avoid the crowds of tourist destinations,

but I promise this was the best summer afternoon.

Milwaukee might be close, but this trip felt like a total change of pace. We explored the Public Market, wandered the Riverwalk, sipped cocktails at the chic Blu rooftop bar, and soaked in the city’s brew history with a visit to Pabst Brewery. A perfect overnight itinerary for foodies, beer lovers, and anyone who loves discovering underrated Midwest gems.

Historic Pabst Brewery 🍺🍺

so here's the perfect plan for an overnight in Milwaukee.

They had such a great vibe in here and their drinks were delicious.

but this time we went to the Pabst brewery.

so we ended up just going inside of the gift shop,

where they have their tea and coffee shop,

My favorite past casual restaurant in Lincoln Park is Kala.

We got some zucchini fritter wraps to share and then also some fries,

We then did a nightcap with some ice cream at Tayaki.

We got a delicious vanilla soft serve with some Oreo and some honey.

We'll definitely recommend for a date night.

and then about a half mile walk to the house itself.

It's crazy to think that it's built of all glass and

how it would be to live inside of this house.

We had a tour of the outside and the inside,

and then we got to explore the grounds and take a walk back through nature.
