This spot was opened in January and has a unique

Japanese character theme with so many cool toys and cute decorations

and the unique decoration doesn't stop when you walk inside.

Also, you can't forget the Mario inspired light at the bar.

We started out with some Yuzu sour chew drinks and tornado pickle cucumber.

They were both very light and refreshing.

toys are pretty small. So make sure to try all the different flavor.

I mean, look at the pool on the mochi bacon.

It was super soft and chewy. Definitely a unique flavor to try.

we ended our meal with some press Coho salmon sushi which just melted in her

mouth after dinner headed right next door to indigo cow for some Hokkaido ice cream.

They serve Hokkaido milk ice cream and you can choose different toppings.

The 90 minute Expedition 

We raided the secret tomb under the postal in Seattle in 90 minutes,

and we barely managed to escape the 6 rooms.

Our guide Alex led us into the expedition campsite,

where there were tents and reserves scattered everywhere.

Then we descended deep into the temple of fire,

where we had to solve the ancient fire deity

rituals before the temple literally erupted round us.

where we were sifting through abandoned equipment.

Connecting their discoveries to piece together the mystery.

we stepped on pressure tiles with the lit up skulls around the

room trying to figure out the pattern to unlock the exit.

When we finally solved the last puzzle and emerged from underground back onto

the post alley in downtown Seattle after 90 minutes in those ancient tombs,

It felt like walking through different people's minds one store at a time.

we decided to go shopping to give ourselves

It feels unreal for a ginormously massive rock to be sitting

on water just a few feet away from the sand.

Near Carney Point was another spot near the Cannon Beach where the view was

where we could just stare into the never ending vastness of the Pacific Ocean.

If you've never walked behind a waterfall,

You are literally inside the nature's curtain.

we met someone selling 8 different kinds of eggs from ostrich,

Portland has so many of them criss-crossing over the Willamette River.

and freedom stitched together is a reminder that you don't have to fit into a villa,

It's curtains up at the cabaret in Capitol Hill.

an incredible story about greed and ambition and betrayal,

What really stood out to me from other venues was just how intimate it was.

and the actors did a phenomenal job moving around the room,

so it felt like you were part of the story.

There's a bar for drinks and snacks that you can enjoy during the show,

and I loved how you could even order right from your phone.

this is a venue I want to come back to again and again.

• Parking in U-District is all street parking, but it’s pretty inexpensive. 
• I’ve never had a long wait, but it does get busy — just something to keep in mind! 

💪 Pro tips
• I really recommend the Mapo tofu with beef!!!! It’s soooo good (albeit spicy). 
• Afterwards, take a stroll through the Ave or the surrounding neighborhood, or even the campus to help digest. I recommend popping into Magus Books!

Taste of Xi’an — incredible Chinese food!

Relax in a cozy, lamplit space at Tea Republik, perfect for studying or reading with an extensive tea menu to choose from in the U-District.

there's no better time than now to enjoy some comfort Chinese food and a cozy tea shop.

Although the U- District has a ton of Asian restaurants to choose from,

And even though the restaurant looked deserted from the video,

And it makes sense because all of the food here is so delicious.

My friend and I always get the mapo tofu with the beef

which is conveniently located right next to Taste of Xi’an.

there are a ton of different teas to choose from,

and you can also choose from a small or large pot.

My friend got a more fruit type of tea and I got the chai,

My friend and I are both reading Wuthering Heights,

so we spent the rest of the evening doing that before heading home.
