Base 2 Space, Seattle’s Most Iconic Climb, returns on October 1, 2023! 

Scale the Space Needle’s two open-air staircases, taking in incredible views of downtown Seattle, Mt. Rainier, and the Puget Sound region’s surrounding beauty as you ascend 832 steps to the top of Seattle’s most iconic landmark! To date, Base 2 Space has raised over $3.5 million for lifesaving cancer research. All donations raised benefit Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and the Space Needle Foundation.

Hike a shaded trail along a lively creek to Franklin Falls, then take an invigorating dip in the icy pool beneath the waterfall. Arrive early for parking!

• on weekends it gets pretty busy after 10 am so be sure to go earlier (or later) on the day.
• you’ll need either a national forest pass/America the beauty or you can pay $5 at the parking lot.

This cozy little gem- Capitale pizzeria completely transported me to Napoli.

and the beet salad absolutely blew me away.

I'm not even a salad person and I was in love.

Cities and honestly each bite felt like a quick trip through Italy's flavors.

Toppings were the quality we could taste.

The desserts are in the league of their own.

• It’s only $7.50 for a day pass, and you can come and go as you like!

💪 Pro tips
• Bouquets are charged by size - extra small for $2, $5 for a quarter of zip tie, $8 for a half, and $13 for a full zip tie. Mine is actually too small that they decided to let me just have it :) And if you don’t want to cut flowers - totally fine and there’s plenty of other things to do.

We even jumped in for a quick round of cornhole.
