• I loved the whiskey cocktail with egg white – the name escapes me but starts with a “T” lol

When I heard that this new swanky cocktail lounge was opening,

I had my eyes peeled for a date and conveniently found myself there on day one.

Bar Colette is the cutest swankiest little spot that I didn't know I needed in my life.

Ava was offering us a welcome drink and snacks and gave us a rundown on the menu,

which is pretty straightforward but hella innovative.

We were honestly super impressed before we even ordered our cocktails.

The bar program is by a Michelin award winning bartender

So I was properly blown away by the clarified and innovative cocktails.

They also have fancy snacks on their menu and the French

onion dip with these air thin chips won't fill you up,

I've had the privilege of visiting a handful of the literal best bars

in the world and I must say this feels familiar in that aspect.

Now this Harissa Shrimp was a great appetizer.

We washed all that goodness down with our second round of drinks.

I had the Blackberry Sage Soda and my friend had the Bee Keep,

The Caesar Salad with salmon and the vegan

Mushroom Pizza are both solid dinner choice options.

I loved how rich and earthy that pizza was.

Of course we could not skip out on dessert.

This cheesecake was so creamy and just the perfect way to seal the night.

I'm so excited because one of my favorite

spots just launched their brand new Sunday brunch

buffet from 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. It comes with a fully stocked mimosa bar,

so your server will bring out a nice glass of champagne,

and you could just load up your mimosa with all of your favorite toppings.

They also have a Bloody Mary bar with so many garnishes,

One of my favorite parts about this brunch was The omelet station.

So you just fill out this omelet bar card at your table,

It is all so good and it's here at Culpepper.

it's only $27.82 and for kids it's only $9.82.

These red smashed potatoes were seasoned so well.

This prime sirloin was cooked to perfection,

It was crispy on the outside but perfectly cooked on the inside.

We had the most perfect night out at Palma and Ghost Donkey! We experienced an incredible dinner at Palma and sipped on super unique cocktails at Ghost Donkey. This was such a perfect way to kick off our summer and I can’t wait to go back to spend a night in paradise!

Palma is a fresh and fabulous restaurant located

in Deep Ellum with the most delicious cocktails.

I got the glass slipper and Alyssa got the Cheech and Chong.

We also started out with some crab rangoons that were delicious.

so we listened to some great music while we enjoyed our dinner.

I got this jalapeno smash burger and it was so unique and amazing.

Alyssa got the shrimp tacos and she absolutely loved them.

We ranked each of our meals a 10 out of 10.

They have bright twinkling lights everywhere,

I got the Yoereo Sola and Alyssa got the Berto Tropical that came with.

and we of course had to end the night with some Mexican candy shots.

This was the best way to kick off summers,

so check out Pal Mangos Donkey as soon as you can.
