• Rooftop hours: Tuesday-Saturday evenings from 4 p.m.- 12 a.m
• Private yurts and cabanas are available by reservation Tuesday-Saturday and Sunday in December from 4-7:30 p.m. or 8 p.m to late. 
• The Small Lodge is a $250 rental and includes a bottle of Lallier Brut, bottled water & valet parking. 
• The Large Lodge seats 2-8 people and is $300 rental inclusive of 2 bottle of Lallier Brut,  bottled water & valet parking for all guest. 
• The Cottages are $350 rental and include of a bottle of Lallier Brut,  bottled water and  valet parking for all guest.

At The French Room in Dallas, enjoy a laid-back evening with oysters and truffle fries at the Cocoa Lounge pop-up, where most seating is open and walk-ins are welcome.

So I'm officially going full send on the holidays and here's

one that you've got to make happen this season.

So to me, it truly doesn't feel like holiday season

without a stop at the iconic Adolphus hotel downtown.

Now, the hotel in itself is a vibe in its own right.

But I personally love their holiday activations that they

have going on throughout the entire hotel each year.

Each holiday season though they deck out their rooftop with a

theme and this year is a winter village ski lodge theme.

The whole rooftop is filled with fire pits and several

cozy and festive areas to sit and chill with friends, have a drink, grab a bite.

My favorite though has to be these mini yurts.

So I was pleasantly surprised by the cuteness of these little yurts

At the bar you'll find the cutest holiday cocktails like this espresso Martini in a

honey bear and some spiked hot chocolate with hand torched marshmallows

if you're in the mood for something warm.

you can also get it with or without booze.

We grab our drinks and took them back to our little yurt where we,

of course, had a little mini party with just the two of us.

And when we were there, they had a saxophonist playing live music.

We wrapped up with a photo op and then decided to head downstairs

to check out the Cocoa Lounge pop up at the French Room bar.

This is also a space that they transition so beautifully for the holidays.

We found a seat and ordered a round of drinks and a few of

our favorite snacks and just sat and talked and had a nice little evening.

If you're like me and always on the lookout

for a great cocktail on some delicious sushi,

then Blue Maki by the Blue Fish is definitely the place to go.

Located about 25 minutes north of Dallas in Carrollton,

it's truly a hidden gem and it did not disappoint.

We started with the Lychee Yuzu Classic Highball

we ordered the Chicken Kaarage and the Cucumber Salad.

something you can look forward to regularly.

we did the El Mágico Tequila Dinner experience.

so an expert host will walk you through each pour and pairing,

and we started out with a welcome cocktail and paired it with our first course,

and that combo truly just tasted like you were on vacation.

This 3rd course was actually Alyssa's favorite.

and we paired that with El Mágico reposado,

This 4th course was actually my favorite combo.

It's the El Diablo cocktail paired with Lomo

and these are all Exclusive pours and executive chef creations that are off menu.

we had a pina colada pinata made by the chef's wife,

I just love that the chef will infuse certain dishes with the featured cocktail,

This is a perfect experience for date nights or groups.

I just went to my very first paint & sip ever! It was so organized and relaxing. This event was held at Sixty Vines and it was put on by The Art Table. We painted charcuterie boards while sipping on the best wine and eating the best food. I love that Sixty Vines holds events like this & I’ll definitely be checking out other craft nights from The Art Table!

I just went to my very first paint and sip ever.

We just got our palettes and got started.

We started out by tracing our design onto transfer paper

that allowed the design to go on the charcuterie board.

They also brought out personal sized charcuterie boards that were so cute.

and the art table really knows how to throw an event.

they even had a raffle where they gave away some free classes at their studio.
