Take a Tarot Reading 101 workshop at Freddo

I took a tarot 101 class and I fell in love with it

so much that I want to nudge you to do the same.

The class is held at Fredo's by Monica with Monica's porch,

grab a coffee or drink before heading upstairs to where

she reserves a private room to host the class.

learn the history how to interpret the art and messages

of each card and give each other readings

before Monica gives everyone a quick personal reading.

I enjoyed how small and intimate the class

was and loved being around like minded people.

I've always been intrigued by tarot but had a somewhat negative perception about it.

This class completely turned that around and I'm truly obsessed to the point that

I'm putting the second class on my Christmas wish list.

Catch the sunset at Oasis Texas Brewing Company 

There's just something about a Texas sunset that hits different

You gotta work a little for it by walking up a few flights of stairs to the top floor

but then you've made it to the Oasis Brewing Company.

You can't really go wrong with anywhere that you sit because there's great views

I prefer this spot to the Oasis because lines are smaller,

I didn't stay for the sunset this go round

but that's a sweet little surprise I'm saving just for you

• Bring a chair or blanket to sit on, and get there early! We were lucky enough to get a table, but it filled up fast. Chairs will have to sit near the back of the backyard. 
• Check out Hyde Park Storytelling to see when their next events are! They are usually every 4 months - the next one is in November, and will feature a live orchestra. 

Head down the street to Batch Kolaches 

If you're looking to check out something different on a Saturday night,

We started off the night by going to Salty South.

They have an awesome happy hour every day from 4:30 to 6:30.

I personally love their chicken liver mousse.

This event originally took place in someone's backyard in Hyde Park,

but has since grown in popularity and moved to Batch.

A group of people shared true stories ranging in topics and duration.

They usually have these events every 4 months,

New Upscale Dinner Date Spot 

Head to The Kimberly in downtown Austin for craft cocktails, appetizers, and wood-fired steaks—perfect for an upscale dinner date or special night out.

• Check the dress code online - they do have a dress code, but it’s pretty lax.

💪 Pro tips
• The entree portions are pretty large, you may want to split them and get a side!
• We found street parking pretty easily around the corner 

Head to the Kimberly 

This brand new restaurant just opened in downtown Austin and is a must go if you are looking for an upscale dining experience.

The Kimberly is owned by the same owner of Red Ash and J Carvers steakhouse - I personally love both restaurants so I was so excited to check this one out. We started with some STRONG cocktails - I got the dangerous woman which had a salt air foam on top and my partner got the lawyers, guns and money.
If you get one thing from this menu I would highly recommend the cheddar Parker house rolls… I would literally come back here just to eat those any day of the week
We started with a couple of appetizers, but the real highlight here is the steak - this place is known for it, so we couldn't pass it up. Their steaks are dry aged for 30 days and cooked over a wood fired girl, which adds an incredible flavor.
Lastly we had to check out the dessert -we got the  creme brûlée tasting which included 3 types of creme brûlée, each with their own flavor.
If you are wanting to add a new date night spot into your rotation, I highly recommend checking out the Kimberly

• The Dome-ain is the on-site bar and lounge at the Concert Dome, offering a relaxed and scenic atmosphere before and after each performance. They serve a rotating menu of themed cocktails and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) inspired by each performance, offering a unique drink experience for each show. Light snacks are also available.

If you want to enjoy a breathtaking concert dome with state of the art visuals and enjoy a nice meal with drinks, then this plan is perfect for you.

First, head over to Barton Springs Saloon for food and drinks.

It's a bar on South Lamar with great happy hour deals and an outdoor patio.

First, I suggest starting off with some well drinks or specialty cocktails.

Outside of the bar, you’ll fine the Tommy Want Wingy food truck.

I recommend trying a combination of the wings.

My favorites are the OG and the Spicy Pineapple.

Once you finish your food and drinks, head over to the Concert Dome.

It's a 360 degree immersive venue with live music.

Before you enter the venue, they have a bar and lounge that offers drinks and snacks.

You definitely want to grab some drinks to enjoy during the show.

And then once you have your drinks in hand, grab your seats and enjoy an unforgettable and unbelievable experience.

Everyone has recliner seats for you to relax and feel every note and emotion.

It's a fantastic experience where the musicians bring your favorite songs to life.

The visuals change throughout the performance and you’ll find yourself in awe gazing into them as you enjoy the concert.
