Have you ever wanted to make your own custom rug? A Meraki Tuft studio?

You can do just that first. Grab your apron,

choose your gun and choose from a wide variety of colors.

I chose to do disco cherries because that is my current obsession right now.

It was so, so fun watching my design come to life from the tufting to the shaving

and this is really the perfect activity to do right now because it's cold out.

Um So I highly recommend sharing this with your friend or a date and get tufting.

• If you would like to create your own song, the professional audio engineer can provide you with a beat based on your preference and you can write your own lyrics to record.
• You can bring up to 3 guests per session with you.

If you enjoy a day full of laughter and music as you record songs in a one-stop shop recording and production studio, then this is the plan for you.

First, head over to Black Marigold Studio.

It's very spacious and you will have your own professional engineer to guide you along the way.

You can bring your own drinks, which I recommend to help you relax and get the creativity flowing for the music process.

The engineer will set you up in the booth with headphones and a microphone and go through the process with you.

You can perform a cover song from another artist or write your own song.

At the end of the day, you don't have to be a professional artist.

Just let loose and have fun with your friends.

And when someone is in the booth recording, you can see them through the computer screen and watch the engineer work his magic.

It's an amazing process to watch from end to end.

And we spent so much time laughing at ourselves, we literally laughed until tears were rolling down our faces.

It's a different and fun activity you can do with your friends.

At the end you can listen to the songs you made and the engineer will provide you with the songs as well.

• The DJ sets are usually from 11 am - 3 pm and there are generally 3 different DJ sets.  I would recommend to go early so you don’t miss any sets.
• There will be plenty of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drink options along with food options.

If you enjoy starting your day with vibes and DJ sets, then this is the perfect plan for you.

AM radio hosts morning sets in their favorite cities and of course, Austin is one of them.

We went to a set at Cosmic Saltillo and as soon as we walked in, we could feel the energy and vibes.

I always like to start off with a drink and Cosmic has plenty of options.

Just look at how packed this place is and everyone is having a good time.

The venue had an upstairs as well if you want a little bit more space and privacy while still having a good time.

Get Flowers at Arnosky Family Farm

then you've got to come out to these flower fields that

are in full bloom at the Marigold Capital of Texas.

It's on a self-serve honor system and you can pay cash or Venmo,

They're open all year round with different blooms throughout the year,

but right now it's marigold's time to shine.

and you're only allowed to walk around the fields,

you can just pack a picnic and come relax on the porch or have a seat out back.

It's just so relaxing and peaceful to sit out there with a bite and a drink.

be sure to support them by buying some flowers or plants.

This is definitely a bucket list item in the Hill Country,

so it's so worth the hour drive to get here.

• The owners and staff are extremely friendly. We had engaging conversations with them throughout our time here.
• They have a rewards program where you can earn points on every purchase. Points can be redeemed for discounts and free menu items.
• They offer catering services for events of all sizes as well. 
• They have dipping sauces that you can order on the side.

If you enjoy a day full of delicious chicken coupled with beer and games, then this is the perfect plan for you.

First, head over to Daddy's Chicken Shack.

It's a chicken restaurant located in Leander.

They have tons of TVs if you are a sports fan and want to watch some games.

They have plenty of space as you can see and a vast amount of comfortable seating as well.

You can buy a card with money on it and self-pour some great local beers.

We tried the local IPA and Mexican lager.

While you hang out, they have a ton of games that you can play.

We decided to play some Uno while we waited on the food.

Just look at all the juices dripping from this chicken.

And these are the loaded fries filled with cheese and bacon, and we added chicken bites to it.

They also have biscuits stacked with chicken that you can add honey to.

There are so many tasty options to choose from.
