Meraki Tuft Studio

Have you ever wanted to make your own custom rug? A Meraki Tuft studio?

You can do just that first. Grab your apron,

choose your gun and choose from a wide variety of colors.

I chose to do disco cherries because that is my current obsession right now.

It was so, so fun watching my design come to life from the tufting to the shaving

and this is really the perfect activity to do right now because it's cold out.

Um So I highly recommend sharing this with your friend or a date and get tufting.

• Weekends are busiest for them so keep that in mind being that the size of the bar is cozy not super big.
• Parking isn’t the easiest your best bet is street parking. But check out parking online for Retail Therapy or the Driskill Bar (which is in close proximity to the Speakeasy.

💪 Pro tips
• This Bar is on 108 East 7th St. across the street from the Driskill Bar. 
• The door is orange and it says bar in red at the top of the door. This bar is quaint so the door allows you the buzz in if the door is locked.

How to find it

If your love language is ambience and cocktails that'll have you in disbelief,

This speakeasy is located to the left of a parking garage on East 7th Street,

Small Victory is a speakeasy with a very extensive bar and cocktail

menu that'll have you doing your very own little victory dance.

My bestie and I ordered a French 75 made with their house Cognac,

I highly recommend you trying this unique French 75,

or the old fashioned way in a tall glass.

They called it the Three cheeses and the 3 charcuteries.

This speakeasy celebrates every win in style.

Swim at Austin Marriott Downtown Rooftop Pool

I went to a rooftop pool for the first time

Here's how you can be bougie on a budget and do the same.

My cousin was staying at the downtown Marriott

so we went to their pool and I got hooked

So I started looking for day passes and found they have these on

resort pass ranging for about $25 to $60 depending on the day.

Their rooftop bar Zanzibar offers poolside service

downtown or anywhere that had a skyline rooftop

so this truly was a unique experience for me and one that felt so peaceful and fancy.

•They have bar seating as well as tables and booths.

Enjoy cocktails and whiskey creations at The Whiskey Bar, located at the back right of Pinballz Lake Creek. It's a great unwind spot after arcade thrills.

• This bar does not serve food, you’d have to go to Nikki’s Tavern for that.

you'll want to go and unwind at Nikki's Tavern.

Catch the sunset at Oasis Texas Brewing Company 

There's just something about a Texas sunset that hits different

You gotta work a little for it by walking up a few flights of stairs to the top floor

but then you've made it to the Oasis Brewing Company.

You can't really go wrong with anywhere that you sit because there's great views

I prefer this spot to the Oasis because lines are smaller,

I didn't stay for the sunset this go round

but that's a sweet little surprise I'm saving just for you
