Pasta Making Class at Aunt Jake’s

This has been living rent free in my head for months,

So I'm so excited to finally check out Aunt

Jake's $55 pasta making and three course meal experience.

This is one of the best things I've done in the city and

it's perfect for a big group of friends or even a date night.

The instructors are super hands on and guide you through making

the pasta dough and creating a bunch of different shapes.

We even got to use the rolling machine which makes you feel like a real pro.

And the best part is you take your fresh pasta home with you.

After all of our hard work, we got to sit down and feast on an amazing three course meal.

to squid ink pasta, this meal was so good.

But what stole the show for me were the salted caramel doughnuts,

chef's kisses all around. Tickets sell out quick.

Fork n' Film

I had so much fun at Fork n' Film's Fork and Sing night.

It was a Wicked sing-along with food themed to the movie.

The screening came with dishes that were perfectly themed and

timed to various scenes and big moments in the movie.

The green elixir and lollipopular martini were a green and pink delight,

both served with edible glitter and a touch of whimsy.

I may have had a little too much fun with these 🤭

I definitely did with the singalong after.

from Dancing through Rice served in a book

to complement the scene in the Shiz library,

to nearly showstopping Emerald City gnocchi,

which perfectly matched the dazzling Oz vibes.

They also did a good job at accommodating my vegetarian requests.

At no point did I feel like I missed out on the foodie experience.

With so many other movies and menus to try,

my friends and I will definitely be back for another round.

Although it will be tough to top this high note that we ended on.
