Grab dinner in downtown Grapevine

My boyfriend and I were looking for a nice lake spot that we could

just take some chairs and enjoy the good weather and bring the dog.

We found this spot called Rockledge Park.

It's just about 10 minutes from downtown Grapevine and

just over the bridge past the Gaylord Hotel.

They have six different coves and it honestly kind

of felt like we had the area to ourselves.

but they also have some different picnic tables laid out around.

I definitely would check it out if you're interested in

paddle boarding or maybe some kayaks and different outdoors activities.

They also had a ton of trails that we haven't been able to explore yet.

They have about 23 miles of them and the loops are about 2 to 3 miles.

They also had such a pretty sunset that we actually ended up seeing an engagement,

Catbird is definitely one of the best bars in Dallas! My absolute favorite drink was the Oko Ono, if you go you HAVE to try it out. They have a great DJ, a patio with a beautiful view, and the perfect aesthetic to go with the most perfect cocktails.

Catbird has to be one of the coolest bars in all of Dallas,

and I was so excited to finally get the chance to hop on over and check it out.

She got the origamos and I got the catbird,

Dani also really loved these spicy shrimp tacos.

Everyone kept telling me my dress matched the bathroom,

and they have a really nice bar and outdoor patio if you're waiting for your table.

We ended our evening with a haiku cocktail and a nitro espresso martini.

On the 2nd Sunday for the next couple of months,

Mayer’s Garden is hosting a drag brunch,

We kicked off our brunch with this mimosa carafe,

and we got these yummy deviled eggs as an appetizer.

The star of our brunch was this rhinestone Cowboy.

It is a vodka-based drink with two Red Bulls,

I've been thinking about it every single day since,

and it made for the perfect meal while the drag queens went around and put on a show.

If you're going to come to the drag brunch,

please do not forget to tip your drag queens

I also saw my very first drag king who was impersonating my man,

drag brunch is on the 2nd Sunday for the next couple of months.

We ended our meal with this delicious slice of chocolate cake.

We washed all that goodness down with our second round of drinks.

I had the Blackberry Sage Soda and my friend had the Bee Keep,

The Caesar Salad with salmon and the vegan

Mushroom Pizza are both solid dinner choice options.

I loved how rich and earthy that pizza was.

Of course we could not skip out on dessert.

This cheesecake was so creamy and just the perfect way to seal the night.

I'm so excited because one of my favorite

spots just launched their brand new Sunday brunch

buffet from 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. It comes with a fully stocked mimosa bar,

so your server will bring out a nice glass of champagne,

and you could just load up your mimosa with all of your favorite toppings.

They also have a Bloody Mary bar with so many garnishes,

One of my favorite parts about this brunch was The omelet station.

So you just fill out this omelet bar card at your table,

It is all so good and it's here at Culpepper.

it's only $27.82 and for kids it's only $9.82.

These red smashed potatoes were seasoned so well.

This prime sirloin was cooked to perfection,

It was crispy on the outside but perfectly cooked on the inside.
