with the best Halloween decorations and you absolutely feel

It is a delicious cocktail bar and they had some really great traditional drinks

Truly dying to find something that loves Halloween as much as I do,

We enjoyed their cocktails and some of the food that they had.

Everything was really delicious and the staff was really kind.

Join me on a solo date seeing some Halloween movie locations around South Pasadena.

I started this fall walk over at Jones Coffee Roasters,

which had some delicious teas and coffees available and

was all dressed up for the spooky holiday.

Right next door is the Michael Myers house that they used in the

movie and you could go right up to it and take pictures.

Within walking distance are plenty of independent,

beautiful stores that you can enjoy and all of them have a

great spooky feel to them to get you in the spirit.

I loved this tarot card store with lots of beautiful candles,

and the people running it were so lovely.

I loved seeing all of the decorations that they had and then stumbled upon

which is really cool to see both homes from the movie.

I saw a great Halloween museum that I have to stop

in and enjoy one of their movie nights next time.

We're back at Moda Studios for round 2 with the casual Creative.

This time to experience their newest event,

We sat outside on the patio soaking up the

gentle sun while deciding which art activity to try.

Ana had curated the cutest creative menu,

from scrapbooking and watercolor painting

I chose scrapbooking and my husband went for water.

Anna and her team brought out all the supplies.

not knowing what to make and feeling that familiar pressure to get it right.

We put so much pressure on the things that once brought us joy,

forgetting that creativity isn't about perfection.

That's what I love about the casual creative.

It's a space without judgment or expectations,

a safe little pocket where your mind can just wander and play.

because that's exactly how I've felt every time I've been here.
