Entry

If you're in Dallas, you definitely have to check out the Dallas Museum of Art.

It's free entry and they have cute photo ops at the front.

there's this exhibit showing you their plans on

elevating the museum and it's pretty cool.

We started our day at the China and Japan collection

and they had some really nice sculptures.

I just had to show you all this mummy from the 19th dynasty.

Next, we checked out the European art collection.

The European collection is where you're gonna find

a lot of the giant portraits and paintings.

And we also saw some people sketching some of the sculptures.

So we saw this sculpture in the middle of the museum. I don't even know how big it is

but definitely take a moment to read the description.

The museum also has this center where kids could go in and create their own artwork.

We ended our day with the Indigenous American Art Collection,

There's a lot of interactive things to do in here like building your own textiles.

You could also listen to the sounds of the different ancient instruments

in this piece. You just walk around and around

to read a continuous message and that was really fun to do as well.

coffee books and they were pretty affordable too.

They also have a cafe where you could get wine and food and relax.

I can't wait to come back and check out all of their new exhibits.

The Floral Bar

We vogued our way to the floral bar for a Devil Wears Prada themed craft night.

and they even had heels hanging from the ceiling.

And don't forget their craft nights are BYOB.

For this Devil Wears Prada themed craft night,

we started with the most beautiful peonies.

We also reflexed some roses and they look so beautiful and full.

We also use these mini three-stemmed roses as fillers.

so everyone's bouquets are going to look a little different.

But the next flower we added was an Anthurium flower,

We also added these deep purple calla lilies that really

brought some depth and height to the flower arrangement.

and this is our final floral arrangement.

My favorite flower is the peony and Nat loves her tulip.

Kilmacs Oak Cliff

there is a brand new bar in Bishop Arts that you have to know about.

Kilmacs is a beautifully dim lit bar with the best vibes.

They also have a wonderful outdoor patio.

They have an Airstream out in their patio that you could go to for service.

They're also furry friendly and the outside literally looks like a castle.

It's so beautiful at night with the lights lit up.

So be sure to check it out in the evening.

Cynthia got the smoked Guinness old fashioned and it was incredible.

The Aztec chocolate bitters and the buffalo trace gave it a really unique flavor.

I got the Santa Muerte and my mezcal Peeps.

This is definitely going to be your go to.

The garlic knots were very good and for our first pizza,

I got the dragon's breath and Cynthia got the matcha chai spritz.

which really gave it an extra special flavor.

I got the Tarragon Clover Club and Cynthia got the lemon poppy sour,

and they were a perfect sweet treat to end our night on.

We said we're going to get a plaque here because we're going to be regulars.
