WOAH was the word of the night during happy hour

at Sushi Roku. Monday’s are sake and wine lovers night.

The tropical Hibiscus, old fashioned and their mocktails were phenomenal.

But we were obsessed with the fact that the manager's name is Taco Taco.

And he brought out this crunchy spicy tuna tempura that had our mouths watering.

hanabi- their signature crispy rice with different toppings and the yellow tail,

My Argentinian friend was struggling with the chopsticks,

but we had a blast and when we thought our night couldn't get any more happy.

Drive Out to Sherwood Forest Faire

Here's an edge to escape to another magical world for a day.

a renowned Renaissance and medieval themed festival located in McDade.

The grounds are just full of things to do and see with a full schedule of shows all day,

It takes a whole day to really soak it in and explore,

so I recommend getting here as early as you can,

but you really do feel like you're transported to another world,

which feels like the perfect place to be right now.

They open every spring and will be open every weekend until April 19th this year.

but I loved it so much I went two weekends in a row,

just grab your favorite little fairies and drive out this spring.

• They also offer pick-up and drop-off catering options for events.

💪 Pro tips
•For food recommendations, my favorite sandwiches are the Firebird and the Queen Beak.  I would also suggest you try the French Fries with a mix of their sauces.  My favorite sauce was the Bacon Infused Chipotle Mayo.
• There are outdoor patio seats at the Manor Road location for you to dine in.

If you enjoy mouth-watering chicken and buttery biscuits, then this is the plan for you.

It's a local sandwich shop known for its fried chicken and biscuit sandwiches.

They have outdoor seating options for you to enjoy while you are eating your meal.

We tried a variety of their chicken sandwiches and everything was absolutely delicious.

Personally, I recommend the Firebird and Queen Beak.

Their fries are also flavorful, and they offer tons of options for dipping sauces.

If you have a sweet tooth, they offer donut holes for dessert.

The food was amazing while enjoying the outdoor weather.

Now that the sun is out, cabanas atmosphere, good vibes, and drinks are a must for brunch and more! 

This place surprised us in the most pleasing way. From the beautiful outdoor to the inside, their unique menu caught us hooked the whole time. We were delighted with the whole experience. This was our first time tasting Cuban food and it won’t be our last!

The good thing is this place doesn’t need a reservation for brunch. The place has plenty of parking in front so no need to stress over it. 


💪 Pro tips
 • The restaurant is located behind to a 7eleven so your GPS might take you right to the station and you will be confused, but follow the sign for the restaurant and you will find the entrance and parking.
• Order some plantains! You’re not really eating Cuban if you’re not having plantain. Taste it, it’s delicious! 
• For appetizers, yuca fries and their croquetas are a must!
• Order their mojitos! It was really good! My friend and I loved it. 

Happy Hours is 
• Monday to Thursday from 3-6pm
