A cute inclusive perk at the Inn is its self-serve wine bar,

offering a collection of local wines and spread of appetizers

This Mexican bistro provides a lively atmosphere.

but be warned that the lolly has a kick to it.

The guacamole here is delicious and I had just enough room for the Torta Del 

After all that food, not only was bed calling

but the self serve European continental breakfast

provided a welcomed fresh and light spread

Located behind the Inn is the ecology trail.

You'll be surprised by just how much wildlife you'll find here.

Alternatively, utilize one of the Inn's complimentary bikes

I've always been curious about becoming a beekeeper,

but didn't know where to start until I found this

It's mainly Q&A with introduction to supplies and part honey tasting.

Basically the perfect low pressure way to step into

the world of bees without the actual bees present.

I learned that the queen releases pheromones that keep the hive stable.

and bees can travel up to 3 miles from their hive.

I learned that honey flavor depends on what flowers the bees visit,

the tasting part is as good as it sounds.

I even shopped around and bought some honey to take home.

If you've ever even slightly thought about being a beekeeper,

I now have a whole new appreciation for the bees.

• The Valley Club is located in Hotel G but the entrance is on Mason St. Look for the door next to the “VC” sign.
• The lounge is small and has nooks that sit 2-3 people. Larger groups may need to huddle at the bar.
• Food options are limited (mainly bar snacks) so for an actual meal, you’ll want to stop elsewhere. Try Matador!

Drinks at The Valley Club 

This is your sign to disappear into a 70s lounge.

I found this tucked away spot downtown called The Valley Club,

and it actually feels like stepping into another era.

We ordered a few cocktails to share and you bet the drinks here are creative.

But what I love the most is it's chill enough to talk.

So save this for your next pre or post dinner spot.

This 38-mile trail is a beast! It follows the city’s outer edge, along the San Francisco Bay, the Daly City border, the Pacific Ocean, and the Golden Gate strait. You can explore the entire route in a day or section by section. The six sections range from five to eight miles in length and cover a variety of terrain.

SF Roundabout Perimeter Hike! 🥾

Begin and end the epic 38-mile San Francisco Roundabout hike at the Ferry Building, taking in waterfront views and city sights along the perimeter trail.

• Recommend not walking through Presidio or Land’s End after sunset unless you bring a headlamp, as there’s no lighting and it’s easy to trip.

Start (and finish!) your hike at the Ferry Building

and this insane urban hike is going to take you 38 miles

you definitely don't have to walk at all in one day.

The trail is broken up into manageable segments you can do separately any time.

there's something magical about watching SF change from morning into night

you'll head west along the border with Daly City.

This edge of the square was the mentally toughest to get through,

Here's your long walk on the beach into the more

secluded natural areas of Land's End and the Presidio.

Emerge into the Marina district for the home stretch.

You'll count down all the piers on your way back to FiDi,

was I glad to see the ferry building again.

This is one bucket list item for the books.

everyone was eager to get their hands on some of the best pastries in the city.

making these delicious creations in real time.

It was cool getting a glimpse on how everything is made

and how all the pastry chefs work together as a team.

there were smiles and looks of excitement when it

was someone's turn to pick up their order.

look at this beautiful collection of treats,

I started off trying their steak frites croissant,

I tried the strawberry butter cake croissant,

it was one of the best first bites I've had,

A great way to start off the day in San Francisco.
