• The entrance is a bit hidden — hence speakeasy! The address you type into Apple Maps IS correct! Just look for the little golden sign and doorbell! Ring that to be let inside! 🛎️

• It’s a popular bar, so keep an eye out for seating! People were frequently coming and leaving, so we snagged a table within the first 20 minutes or so! 🪑

starting at this adorable speakeasy Knee High Stocking.

The art and decor are fantastic, and the drinks

are even better. If you're a vodka person,

mine came with some smoky lavender! And once the hunger starts kicking in,

it's time to move over to Donna's for their late night happy hour deal.

You really can't go wrong! We got three different dishes and loved them all.

I'd also recommend trying the mac and cheese balls for a cheesy appetizer.

Our only challenge was seating. We all know it gets busy on Capitol Hill on weekends,

A lot of people were coming and going, and we were able

to snag a spot at the bar pretty easily to dig in.

I went to the reopening of sushi by scratch

in Seattle to experience their latest Omakase menu.

We arrived 30 minutes early to enjoy small bites and a welcome drink.

The introductory courses were almost a meal in itself.

Then we were escorted to the main dining area where we saw the sushi rice being made.

I got a beverage pairing with my Omakase course.

Each course is prepared right in front of you by a team of trained sushi chefs,

The entire experience itself was very elegant,

They offer 3 dining sessions each night and 10 seats during each session.

It's an intimate experience perfect for special occasions or a fancy date night.
