At The Downtown Boathouse at Pier 26 in TriBeCa, enjoy free kayaking on weekends, first come, first serve. Bring a change, and check the website for more details.

• Open Sat, Sun, holidays; 10AM-4:30PM
• Last boat goes out at 4:30PM
• Need to know how to swim
• Come back in 20mins   

💪 Pro tips
• They have 2 changing rooms (bathrooms are at Pier 25, so definitely go before arriving)
• Come early to avoid long lines; we arrived at 10AM and went out at 10:30AM (First come first serve in the line)
• They have lockers and locks you can borrow 
• What to wear: bathing suit or shirt and shorts; most people went barefoot into the kayak
• Bring a change of clothes if needed, highly likely to get wet 
• They have free sunscreen there you can use too but def put sunscreen, bring a cap and sunglasses 
• Bring phones on the kayak at your own risk, many have dropped them in the river; I brought my GoPro and it was pretty difficult to film and kayak for me personally

Head to Pier 26

At Pier 25 Playground in TriBeCa, enjoy the large aquatic animal structures and swings for a playful break. There's also a nearby bathroom for convenience.

Walk towards Pier 25 for some playground fun!

Visit Double Crispy Bakery in Chinatown for the best Portuguese egg tarts. Enjoy them on-site for a delightful break.

💪 Pro tips
• Get the Portuguese egg tarts they’re SO GOOD! 
• They have seats, so highly recommend to take a seat, enjoy the egg tarts there and chill for 30mins before heading out.
• If you need the bathroom, there should be a bathroom at a nearby park.

I brought my girl to kayak at pier 26 downtown boathouse

where you can kayak for free every weekend this summer! 

chose our paddles and went for a mini orientation before setting out on our kayaks.

It was both our first times on a single kayak

so it was a little nerve wrecking but we got the

hang of it pretty quickly and it was so much fun!

We even made friends on our kayaks and took this cute lil video when we got off!

Pick up this cute postcard before heading to a cool playground at pier 25.

We got on the swings for a bit before going to Chinatown for the best egg tarts ever!

10/10 Highly recommend! It was such a great day!

• Drinks are good, but not too strong. We had the Picketini & the Wild Rose - both were really good!

• The show had 3 acts and 3 intermissions, it lasted about 3 hours.
• Events are 21+, so don’t forget your ID!

• You can take the train, but we drove and found street parking easily (just get there early).

• Seats are first come, first served - arrive early to get a good view.
• Doors to the venue open at 6:30pm, but theater doors open at 7:15pm (seating isn’t guaranteed after 7:30).
• There’s an outdoor area with some seating if you want a drink before the show.
• Some acts are interactive and might involve water - look out for the splash zone when selecting your seats!

Duck Walk Vineyards

Tis the season for vineyard hopping in the Hamptons.

it was the perfect time for a quick train to

a bachelorette weekend full of wine and city-less vibes.

My group rented an adorable Airbnb complete with pool and

porch and plenty of amenities befitting a big crew.

and the 10 of us set out to Channing Daughters,

The team was super knowledgeable and helpful,

giving us even more than what was allowed in the tasting trees

we ordered to help us find a wine we would each love.

Once we were sufficiently buzzed and photos were done,

we hopped back on the bus for a quick 15 minute ride to Duck Walk,

you choose 4 individual wines you want to try,

But they also had an adorable outdoor area complete with live music,

Both spots also had their fair amount of savory snacks which really hit the spot.

our thirst was sufficiently quenched and we were all feeling really good.

Highly recommend grabbing the girls and making the trip.
