are in full bloom at the Marigold Capital of Texas.

It's on a self-serve honor system and you can pay cash or Venmo,

They're open all year round with different blooms throughout the year,

but right now it's marigold's time to shine.

and you're only allowed to walk around the fields,

you can just pack a picnic and come relax on the porch or have a seat out back.

It's just so relaxing and peaceful to sit out there with a bite and a drink.

be sure to support them by buying some flowers or plants.

This is definitely a bucket list item in the Hill Country,

so it's so worth the hour drive to get here.

• My recommendations for food are the Nashville Daddy, the Burrito Daddy, and the Loaded Fries.
• They have 4 heat levels from mild to extra hot with ghost pepper sauce.  If you like spicy, they definitely have the options.
• The owners and staff are extremely friendly. We had engaging conversations with them throughout our time here.
• They have a rewards program where you can earn points on every purchase. Points can be redeemed for discounts and free menu items.
• They offer catering services for events of all sizes as well. 
• They have dipping sauces that you can order on the side.

If you enjoy a day full of delicious chicken coupled with beer and games, then this is the perfect plan for you.

First, head over to Daddy's Chicken Shack.

It's a chicken restaurant located in Leander.

They have tons of TVs if you are a sports fan and want to watch some games.

They have plenty of space as you can see and a vast amount of comfortable seating as well.

You can buy a card with money on it and self-pour some great local beers.

We tried the local IPA and Mexican lager.

While you hang out, they have a ton of games that you can play.

We decided to play some Uno while we waited on the food.

Just look at all the juices dripping from this chicken.

And these are the loaded fries filled with cheese and bacon, and we added chicken bites to it.

They also have biscuits stacked with chicken that you can add honey to.

There are so many tasty options to choose from.

Enjoy seafood at Skipjack Oyster

I got a new place in town for all my seafood lovers.

Skipjack Oyster just opened in the Westin downtown,

and it's got this really cool swanky vibe to it in here.

but nothing was beating the sound and spirit for

me with this unique foam they had on top.

and this was hands down our favorite thing that we ate.

we had to try the oysters since they're in the name.

this platter had the largest shrimp cocktail I had ever eaten in my life,

my mom was in heaven with her shrimp and grits,

but I personally enjoyed the Texas redfish a lot more.

Flavor Town was just in full force with that seasoning.

Foodie and Tina is a small working farm nestled away on South Lamar.

the chef takes it straight from their soil to the sushi he prepares

by using ingredients his partner Becca grows right there on the farm.

Spencer prepares everything in front of you and it's

so sweet hearing their story alongside the sustainability,

We immediately wanted more as soon as we were done with each course.

I recommend the 8 o'clock slot so that you can be under the stars and

the twinkling lights because it just makes everything

so book a seat before they stop running this for the season in November!
