Lao’d Bar

I've never had La Asian cuisine before. So I was so excited to try this place.

This is loud bar and when you walk in it feels like

you're taken to an Asian night market with the open air concept.

We began with a refreshing beer and a Tom

Yum inspired drink which was spicy and salty.

We got to try a variety of things from the menu and honestly,

my favorites were definitely the coconut ceviche,

which was so creamy and delicious and the smash burger.

I love that. It was dilation me, confusion.

So it was different but still felt familiar.

I cannot wait to come back and bring my friends and family.

• Cell Block Tango was the tastiest drink but Into the Witches Brew and OZmopolitan were the most dramatic & theatrical

They spared no expense and completely decked out the space to the nines.

Every ticket comes with a show stopping themed welcome cocktail or mocktail.

I loved how theatrical Into the witches brew was,

There's so many fun photo ops throughout the bar.

Like the cages from Chicago and of course the hearts of Moulin Rouge.

Karaoke starts every Wednesday to Saturday at 9 p.m. All you gotta do

is sign up to take center stage or belt it out from the sidelines.

It was so special to be in a space with like-minded people.

cheering each other on and having an absolute blast.

They also have drag shows and the queens were well worth going to see,

and come unleash your inner Broadway star.

I have been on the hunt to find the best views of downtown Austin,

and this rooftop on top of the JW Marriott is exactly that.

Coming at sunset was absolutely breathtaking.

and it is 100% the best spot to watch the sunset.

The star of the show for me was definitely the Wagyu burger,

and we ordered a pizza and it came straight delivered to our table,
