Come with me and my friend to a speakeasy on the Upper East side called Ues

It's a fully operating ice cream shop, but it secretly doubles as a cocktail bar.

They have lots of flavors to eat outside on a warm day.

But behind this ice cream wall, there's a fancy bar called the storage room.

As you enter the speakeasy, there's dim lighting and tons of seating.

The Decor was a highlight with lots of mirrors to take cute selfies in.

My friend was shocked that we were just in an ice cream shop.

We looked through the menu and each drink had such a fun name,

but we were so overwhelmed by the options that we just

asked the waiters to surprise us with two mocktails.

They brought out a drink that was lit on fire.

and the other was in a heart shaped glass with

a straw going through an actual scoop of ice cream.

Overall, the vibes are unbeatable and I'm excited to try out more of the menu.

I'm always looking for a way to make workouts more fun.

So if you love music and moving your body,

My friend and I recently attended one of the dance church classes,

and I had no idea what I was walking into.

At first we thought we were doing ballet.

We were totally surprised when it was a mix of Pilates,

and kind of just moving your body all around.

What I loved about this class is it was truly No judgment zone.

and it felt good to just let loose and have a good time.

What's also super cool about this class is there are no mirrors in the studio.

You're in a circle focused on your instructor,

so if mirrors freak you out when you're dancing,

And from all the calories that we burned,

so we grabbed a bite to eat and some drinks to cap off the night.

@journalingclasses offers a somatic body painting workshop!

We started off with writing our names and collectively picked a tarot card.

I love how we got to write down a word that resonated with us on our matchbox

and then lit our intention candles with it.

We drew and painted on the canvas and our bodies

and even danced a little in response to each prompt.

It was such a loving space of vulnerability,

I've never played with paint like this before and my inner child was so happy.

It was so transformative and I left feeling re-centered and loved 💕
