Ice Cream + Cocktails

Come with me and my friend to a speakeasy on the Upper East side called Ues

It's a fully operating ice cream shop, but it secretly doubles as a cocktail bar.

They have lots of flavors to eat outside on a warm day.

But behind this ice cream wall, there's a fancy bar called the storage room.

As you enter the speakeasy, there's dim lighting and tons of seating.

The Decor was a highlight with lots of mirrors to take cute selfies in.

My friend was shocked that we were just in an ice cream shop.

We looked through the menu and each drink had such a fun name,

but we were so overwhelmed by the options that we just

asked the waiters to surprise us with two mocktails.

They brought out a drink that was lit on fire.

and the other was in a heart shaped glass with

a straw going through an actual scoop of ice cream.

Overall, the vibes are unbeatable and I'm excited to try out more of the menu.

Tavern on the Green 🐎 

I took it back to an NYC Classic for my birthday dinner in March,

institution and a fave treat yourself spot for me.

Aside from its gorgeous architecture and layout,

it boasts some phenomenal food and service.

We immediately gravitated towards some classic drinks

and the veggies and salads were fantastic as well.

some of the best cheesecake I've ever tasted,

but we were also greeted by a giant birthday cake slice, as an added surprise.

The waiter even made me a decaf espresso martini so that I could avoid caffeine.

Totally recommend this for a special occasion or treat yourself night,

there's this quirky little galactic show happening at

a planetarium uptown on City College's campus.

Important detail because somehow there are 3 planetariums in Manhattan.

Bonus points if you rock a star necklace.

There's this physics professor who takes you on

which I guess I had the appropriate outfit on for,

facts about the world to let whoever or whatever

finds it know what we're like here on Earth.

I have to tell you about this amazing free exhibit I went to that you have to check out.

All the pieces are by women and non-binary artists.

Every piece felt so intentional and different from one another.

My talented friend has this crystal ball piece in the

show as well that you definitely have to check out!

It's at Pen and Brush and this exhibit is with the Every Woman Biennial.

This exhibit is limited time and completely free,

so definitely visit and explore the beautiful pieces
