Come with me and my friend to a speakeasy on the Upper East side called Ues

It's a fully operating ice cream shop, but it secretly doubles as a cocktail bar.

They have lots of flavors to eat outside on a warm day.

But behind this ice cream wall, there's a fancy bar called the storage room.

As you enter the speakeasy, there's dim lighting and tons of seating.

The Decor was a highlight with lots of mirrors to take cute selfies in.

My friend was shocked that we were just in an ice cream shop.

We looked through the menu and each drink had such a fun name,

but we were so overwhelmed by the options that we just

asked the waiters to surprise us with two mocktails.

They brought out a drink that was lit on fire.

and the other was in a heart shaped glass with

a straw going through an actual scoop of ice cream.

Overall, the vibes are unbeatable and I'm excited to try out more of the menu.

If you're looking to make a quick day trip to somewhere new,

I've got some wineries that you have to hit that are only 2 hours from the city.

we got the crew together and headed to Long Island,

and our first stop was Whisper Vineyards.

which I personally love because we were able to

talk to the staff and learn about the wines,

and they had a super cute area in the back with a full nursery of flowers,

but also it just felt super intimate to be able to catch up with friends.

Our second winery of the day was Baiting Hollow Vineyards,

So if you're looking to sneak away from the city for the day,

these spots you have to add to your list.
