I found the best new date night or pregame spot in Meatpacking called Puttery,

so we kicked things off up there with this charcuterie board, burger bites,

The food was good but the cocktails were even better.

You can also order drinks before the course,

which had mixed effects on gameplay but proven results for a good time.

hilarious night playing the museum themed course. Each floor is a different theme.

Do not underestimate this course. Some of these holes were tricky.

Also be sure to check out the hidden basement bar before you go.

I'd recommend this spot for your next friend hang or a fun date or

as the perfect pregame spot before your next night out on the west side.

• The property is about a 5-hour drive from NYC. They offer parking, so no need to worry about where to leave your car!
• Breakfast is available daily from 7:30 -10:30 a.m. (During holidays and peak seasons, there’s a breakfast buffet as an additional breakfast option). Food is really delicious, so there’s no going wrong with anything you order.
• The Lounge Bar is open Wednesday - Monday (times vary) and it's great for drinks and small plates (not available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
• When visiting, make sure to check out the Mirror Lake Inn Spa. They offer many different services that are top quality.

• There’s a cookies, coffee + tea station available all day.
• The property has a private beach where you can chill, and there are also kayaks available for hotel guests to use (no extra fees!).
• I did the salt room and float therapy. I loved the salt room - it was relaxing and just perfect to meditate and get into the mood for our stay. The float therapy was an interesting sensory experience that I would recommend doing at least once in your life!
• If you book any appointments with the spa, you get access to the whirlpool and the eucalyptus steam room - which was one of my favorite things to do while I was there.
• Hotel guests also get access to the gym, indoor pool (heated), jacuzzi, and the sauna (100% recommend it).

We just had the most peaceful getaway in Lake Placid

The Mirror Lake Inn has been on my bucket list forever,

It has that old money charm but still feels warm and welcoming,

so I booked 2 to do during our stay: a salt room and a float therapy,

and both of them were the coolest wellness experiences I've ever tried.

I was ready for dinner and one thing I really appreciate is when properties

have great on-site dining and Mirror Lake Inn has two options: The Cottage,

which has a more casual vibe and is right by the water and The View,

and everything was so good that we had to take a post-dinner walk to explore town.

We stumbled upon a local arcade and it was the perfect way to end the night.

and got ready for breakfast while taking in the magical lake views.

One thing I love about hotels in upstate is that the food is often locally sourced,

so the quality and the flavor of everything they serve is just delicious.

Lake Placid is the kind of place that re-energizes you,

and while the town is one of the prettiest I've seen,

the hotel's private beach was so inviting that we had to take some

kayaks out on the water for the sweetest little afternoon date.

Mirror Lake is known for their 4 diamond rated restaurant: The View.

It is a formal dining experience that uses fresh

ingredients to create a mind blowing combination of flavors.

I will honestly come back to Lake Placid just to eat here again.

This getaway was the perfect opportunity to relax and recharge.

Here's your plan for an easy train day trip from the

city to be in nature and see some cute animals.

Take the Metro North Red Line from Grand Central to New Canaan.

It's only about 1 hour and 15 minutes away.

We started the day with a healthy breakfast and strawberry matcha at Greenology

We also popped into this cute cabin type shop.

Then we took a 15 minute Uber to Grace Farms,

go right when it opens because it can get crowded.

you just have to reserve tickets in advance.

My favorite part was their free tea tasting and all of the Japanese architecture.

And we took an Uber only about 10 minutes to the Stanford Museum and Nature Center.

They had the cutest otters and so many different farm animals,

who was also so funny and a little bit feisty.
