You're greeted with a glass of champagne or sparkling water and

you're invited to explore the space filled with fresh spring flowers.

Every Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Flowers for Dreams hosts an open studio with a self-guided bouquet design.

You can choose between standard or deluxe.

No feelings of pressure or a sense of urgency.

You'll even notice me put some of my flowers back,

and maybe even try more than one variation

to find the combination that's just right.

These are the tall flowers that kind of peek through the middle of the bouquet.

Gentle care was taken to trim the stems and tie

it up while maintaining the health of each stem.

All that was left was to pick a vase and finally

One I get to take home and watch flourish.

Union Paddle Club opened a little over a month ago in

West Loop, and we had such a blast learning how to play.
