Here's your nudge plan for a quick weekend getaway to Charlottesville.

I've lived in DC for my whole life and somehow I've never made the two hour drive here.

We started off with an incredible sandwich from Ciaccia

where they make all their sandwiches on homemade focaccia.

We split two and enjoyed the outdoor seating.

Then we went to UVA's campus to walk around and pretend

The next morning we headed to the farmer's market downtown.

It's every Saturday through November and we love checking out

the local vendors and went home with some goodies.

we bopped around downtown and were so charmed.

Then make sure to stop at the antique malls on the way out of town.
