• Get your event calendar as soon as you arrive so you can check all the experiences they offer during your stay.
• Don't miss the Tea & Cookies in the Lake Lounge from 4 pm - 5 pm.
• Must-Do Hikes: Sky Top Tower (easy ~20 min) & Eagle Cliff.
• We did a Tui Na class to learn about techniques of Chinese Acupressure self-massage, and I loved it! Highly recommend it!

Head to Mohonk Mountain House

We had the most amazing weekend at the number one,

All inclusive resort in the northeast, complete with delicious food,

stunning views, lots of relaxing time and much more.

Here's how we went: Less than two hours from the city, Mohonk

Mountain House captures the rich history of the 1900s in America.

the gorgeous balcony and the classic decor felt like out of a movie.

We even had a working fireplace to keep us warm through the chilly

Catskill nights. Once we got settled in, we began to explore what Mohonk

had to offer, and headed straight to their open skate

for some fun on ice. During our stay, we were given a full calendar with activities,

So all we had to do was choose our favorites and enjoy.

When dinner time arrived, we headed to their opulent main dining room.

all we had to do was show up for the delicious three-course meal

as well as some of the best breakfast and lunch I've ever had.

Now, I have to say that the start of the weekend,

the exclusive chef's table experience, where we were

treated to a decadent nine course tasting menu

paired perfectly with a wine for each plate

all in the middle of the resort's kitchen.

We started our last day at the spa and I hadn't felt this relaxed in a long time.

The energy of this place combined with the kindest staff,

made this one of the best experiences I've ever had.

And we are making this a yearly tradition.

Slow Morning in Providence

Start your morning in Providence at Coffee Exchange, a cozy Fox Point café where you can savor expertly roasted coffee and even grab a bag of fresh beans for later.

Visit Coffee Exchange to fuel up before you start exploring. It’s a 5 min walk to the Providence River Walk area, so be sure to enjoy your coffee by the water if you can!

Explore Nostalgia Antiques, a two-story treasure trove of vintage finds, trinkets, and collectibles. Don’t forget to haggle—many prices are negotiable!

Wander lush greenhouses and gardens at Roger Williams Park Botanical Center—don’t miss the koi pond or the park’s Japanese garden and friendly goats nearby.

• Though the conservatory is the main thing to see, don’t skip out on the other greenhouses! They grow all sorts of things-

• Visit the goat farm right outside the conservatory! These live action composters help take care of any invasive species. 
• After visiting the botanical center, check out the park campus! Visit the Temple to Music, Japanese gardens, and a carousel right next door 🙂

and I spent this cozy morning in Providence,

We started off our morning at Coffee Exchange on Wickenden Street,

a fantastic cafe where they roast on site and sell a whole bunch of beans as well.

this is some of the best coffee I've had in a minute.

where they had everything from statues to

vintage clothes and trinkets of all kinds.

so you'll never run out of things to explore.

I love antique stores because every piece tells its own story,

and it's a fun way to immerse yourself in times before our own.

we headed to Roger Williams Park Botanical Center.

We explored this beautiful Japanese garden,

and I got so lost in the lush of this conservatory that

I almost forgot I was smack in the middle of the city.

And look at these cuties in the koi pond.

I guarantee there's always something to look forward to in Providence

and highlights community orgs and businesses.

We snagged a falafel plate from the Chubby Chickpea

and a grapefruit aperol spritz from this cute little mobile van.

This time we even discovered a hangout nook in the Hive mobile,

which was a perfect shelter from the sun.
