• This studio has a couple different workshops, and they also have weekly classes you can sign up for.

• Dress in something you don’t mind getting dirty! (The clay will wash off, but this way you’re not worried about ruining your favorite pair of jeans.) 
• Bring beer or wine! They have a fridge you can store things in if you need to. 
• You come back one month later to pick up your finished product.

I have always wanted to try pottery and I found

this sip and spin class at Indigo Fire in Watertown

We got our clay, our little station and I popped open a beer.

Our instructor showed us what to do and then we finally got our hands on the clay.

My cup definitely has some curves and edges.

We got a little messy but it was all good because our end product wasn't too bad.

The studio will fire them for us and then we'll come back to pick them up.

Start your morning in Providence at Coffee Exchange, a cozy Fox Point café where you can savor expertly roasted coffee and even grab a bag of fresh beans for later.

Visit Coffee Exchange to fuel up before you start exploring. It’s a 5 min walk to the Providence River Walk area, so be sure to enjoy your coffee by the water if you can!

Wander lush greenhouses and gardens at Roger Williams Park Botanical Center—don’t miss the koi pond or the park’s Japanese garden and friendly goats nearby.

• Though the conservatory is the main thing to see, don’t skip out on the other greenhouses! They grow all sorts of things-

• Visit the goat farm right outside the conservatory! These live action composters help take care of any invasive species. 
• After visiting the botanical center, check out the park campus! Visit the Temple to Music, Japanese gardens, and a carousel right next door 🙂

and I spent this cozy morning in Providence,

We started off our morning at Coffee Exchange on Wickenden Street,

a fantastic cafe where they roast on site and sell a whole bunch of beans as well.

this is some of the best coffee I've had in a minute.

where they had everything from statues to

vintage clothes and trinkets of all kinds.

so you'll never run out of things to explore.

I love antique stores because every piece tells its own story,

and it's a fun way to immerse yourself in times before our own.

we headed to Roger Williams Park Botanical Center.

We explored this beautiful Japanese garden,

and I got so lost in the lush of this conservatory that

I almost forgot I was smack in the middle of the city.

And look at these cuties in the koi pond.

I guarantee there's always something to look forward to in Providence

We snagged a falafel plate from the Chubby Chickpea

and a grapefruit aperol spritz from this cute little mobile van.

This time we even discovered a hangout nook in the Hive mobile,

which was a perfect shelter from the sun.

Come spend the perfect day with me in Boston's Back Bay and South End.

We started the day by taking the T to Copley Station,

where we began our stroll to Boston's South End.

This neighborhood looks like it's straight out

of a movie with its historic brownstones,

Our first stop was South End Buttery and Brick Street Bagels,

where we picked up coffees and enjoyed our everything

and rosemary sea salt bagels on the patio.

so we stopped in Madeleine's for some gummy candies and got to try

We made our way to Newbury to do some shopping before

heading over to the Public Garden to taste test our candies.

we got our portrait drawn by a local artist
