They opened back in August and I finally got the chance to check it out.

We weren't able to make it on a Thursday,

but I spotted their date night special and it is such a good deal.

decided to kick things off with a little wine.

and I'm not exaggerating when I say they could have been a whole meal on their own.

They also have weekday specials and even a Jeopardy league.

Here's your plan for a quick weekend getaway to Portland,

You can drive 2 hours or take a 2.5 hour train ride

with rideshare and bus options from the station to downtown Portland.

First stop is the Holy Donut in the Old Port for fluffy,

Here’s what you need to know:

Wachusettt Mountain is just an hour outside of Boston.

and you're out the door and on the mountain in minutes.

With a few bunny hill runs using the magic carpet,

soaking in the early morning views before the mountain gets busy.

Be sure to take the lift up to the top and check out the maps at the peaks.

There are 27 trails for all ski levels and clear signage everywhere.

It's the cutest little spot right off the trails where you can rest your legs,

Once you've gotten a couple more passes in and you're ready for lunch,

head down to the main lodge for food and drinks.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the daily events calendar.

And if you've still got some energy left,

be sure to take in the views from the top of the mountain before the sun sets.
