Slow Morning in Providence

Start your morning in Providence at Coffee Exchange, a cozy Fox Point café where you can savor expertly roasted coffee and even grab a bag of fresh beans for later.

Visit Coffee Exchange to fuel up before you start exploring. It’s a 5 min walk to the Providence River Walk area, so be sure to enjoy your coffee by the water if you can!

Explore Nostalgia Antiques, a two-story treasure trove of vintage finds, trinkets, and collectibles. Don’t forget to haggle—many prices are negotiable!

• After visiting the botanical center, check out the park campus! Visit the Temple to Music, Japanese gardens, and a carousel right next door 🙂

and I spent this cozy morning in Providence,

We started off our morning at Coffee Exchange on Wickenden Street,

a fantastic cafe where they roast on site and sell a whole bunch of beans as well.

this is some of the best coffee I've had in a minute.

where they had everything from statues to

vintage clothes and trinkets of all kinds.

so you'll never run out of things to explore.

I love antique stores because every piece tells its own story,

and it's a fun way to immerse yourself in times before our own.

we headed to Roger Williams Park Botanical Center.

We explored this beautiful Japanese garden,

and I got so lost in the lush of this conservatory that

I almost forgot I was smack in the middle of the city.

And look at these cuties in the koi pond.

I guarantee there's always something to look forward to in Providence

We snagged a falafel plate from the Chubby Chickpea

and a grapefruit aperol spritz from this cute little mobile van.

This time we even discovered a hangout nook in the Hive mobile,

which was a perfect shelter from the sun.
