Porter Square Books: Boston Edition

In the heart of the Seaport right on the waterfront is Travelmug Cafe,

a new addition to the area best known for crazy flavors of both coffee and doughnuts.

I tried the coconut Boston cream doughnut and it was out of this world.

The seasonal latte flight for spring was so fun.

you'll head back inside to a new location of Porter Square Books.

I love this bookstore because it carries the books everyone's

reading and the books that no one has read yet.

They have a huge impact in the community with writers' events and even a foundation.

The most unique sections of the store are the blind dates where you

can take a wrapped book home and check out what it is,

or the staff picks where you can get 20% off.

So if you want a plan that leaves you both well read and well fed,

Here's your plan to catch up with a friend

They're most known for their crazy flavors

like pomegranate molasses and this chai blondie,

it was strong without being too acidic and really hit the spot on a Sunday morning.

Your next stop is going to be the summer.

This publicly maintained space is open to walking or

non-electric biking and stretches all the way into Boston.

My favorite section of the trail is near Davis Square,

where there's a really wonderful community

garden that's open to participation from anyone

and really unique art pieces scattered along the way.

It's the perfect spot to enjoy a taste of

beautiful nature right in the heart of a city.
