So we have to be on the lookout for the cutest outdoor spots for prime photo ops,

Literally. Lucky Ladd Farms is just west of Murfreesboro and boasts a nature

trail, petting zoo, and more. Great for kids and kids at heart alike,

There's so much to do and so much to see.

The nature trail is a blast for the science enthusiasts. It's fun,

Educational, has the cutest animals, and it's not too big,

So you're still energized enough to explore the rest of the farm.

There are playgrounds for kids everywhere you turn,

and of course they have pumpkins for sale.

My favorite part is, of course, the petting zoo.

There are so many goats and sheep competing for attention

and food, as well as tortoises and birds to feed.

I have to admit, I spent about 15 minutes in the aviary alone.

Visit Metro Animal Care and Control to meet adoptable dogs and pick a pup for a short-term foster adventure. Supplies and all support are provided.

• The staff were so sweet, providing Zeke with fresh water, a pup cup treat & lots of cuddles.

We kicked things off with a walk and play session at Shelby Park,

then made our way over to Baxter Bailey and Company for some treats and toys.

We took our goodies to the dog friendly patio

and I got to spread the word about him and the foster program.
