it's decked out in decorations and fully stocked with cocktails in festive cups.

It's that weird time of year where people are excited for fall,

to show you is the perfect transitional activity where

you can still enjoy the last bits of summer

while also getting excited about a cozy fall.

my friends and I went to Cider Hill Farm for their peach and sunflower festival.

so we listened to the band play while we fueled

up for our day with some drinks and food.

but I ended up going with the creamy peach

lemonade and these tacos from the Pitchfork food truck.

But I feel like you can't go wrong with any of the food choices here.

which began with a beautiful hay ride in front of the sunflower fields.

It was a lovely ride that took us to the pick your own peaches section,

It was so much fun walking through the trees,

eating them as we went or filling up a bag.

Next was the activity that I was the most excited about,

which was the pick your own flower section.

A ticket for this experience includes access to the garden,

a pair of garden shears and a mason jar so you can fill it up with your own flowers,

and then you get to pick whatever flowers you want.

I just love flowers and everyone's bouquet was so pretty.

we admired the sunflower field on our way to pick blueberries.

I had never seen how blueberries grow before.

pulling the blueberries off the branches was really satisfying.

And watching our cartons fill up as we went was really rewarding.

we walked around the store to get some farm-made goodies.

The store was huge and I swear they had everything,

and I think we all walked out with a bottle of cider.

Since there's different fruit to pick for different seasons,

we're literally already planning a trip back.

We skipped the dinner menu (which looked amazing) and headed next door to Felipe’s for a late night bite. You can’t miss their rooftop deck with $10 margaritas and string lights. pick up a set of your favorite baseball or Pokemon cards.

When there's a line out the door and a disco ball inside,

We took ours to the waterfront to enjoy the view.

When it was time to leave the dreamy boats behind,

The overlook is the perfect lunch spot for flights,

we headed downstairs to check out their gift shop

and see the kettles where the beer is made.

I could have spent all day in their outdoor

area where you can build your own charcuterie board,

They also offer tasting tours for those that want

to learn more about wine and their property.
