so I found the cutest way to cool down in Chicago.

you're given an ice cream name and taken to the prettiest pink subway station.

This entire place was giving sugar overload.

and did you know that New Zealand eats the most ice cream?

Next up was Jelly Bean Dreams with a side of ice.

I found my Zodiac ice cream flavor and never felt more seen.

Who knew there was so much history in ice cream?

Did somebody say mini golf but make it sweet?

I made a bold decision to try Chicago style hot dog ice cream.

Let's just say the silence in my soul said everything.

I immediately needed a new taste in my mouth.

I played some games in the circus room and found

a giant frosted animal cookie and considered moving in,

and you can't skip the bar on your way out.

I noticed this bowl of claw clips almost immediately and loved the starfish one.

I can't wait to throw this in my hair when I'm headed to the lake.

I tried on a couple of different styles here,

but ultimately my favorite thing were the themed accessories.

The theme with the boot was so adorable and then over here we had a Zen

My favorite was the evil eye that was so up my alley.

I have so many options for jewelry and fun candles like this one for spooky season.

Dinner at Viaggio 🍝 

We started at Black Barrel Tavern with their happy hour,

2 to 5 p.m. We both got cocktails and you have to try their watermelon shots.

Then we walked right next door to Viagio for some old school Italian food.

They start you off with bread and this delicious grilled pepper.

I got a lemon drop and then my boyfriend got an espresso martini.

We each got some classic Italian dishes and of

course had to end the night with something sweet.

This is one of my favorite brunch spots in Chicago.

It's called Oak & Honey in Lakeview East and it actually recently opened.

they have fresh pastries ready for you to grab and go as well as a coffee bar,

and they have homemade fresh baked bread daily,

The menu has a good amount of both sweet and savory things,

we had to start the breakfast with a yummy mimosa.

a side of the sourdough bread with their lovely homemade jam

I highly recommend you getting the cinnamon roll pancakes.

Stop by Oak & Honey Wednesday through Saturday for a really good brunch.
