I've never felt more like I was in a Parisian cafe

than I did in George's Donuts & Merriment in West Portola.

I stopped by after their grand opening to

get some donuts for my brother's surprise birthday.

It's probably the most beautiful cafe I've ever seen in San Francisco.

Chef Janina has spent years creating these old world doughnut recipes,

and the team of three spent days hunting in vintage

shops for the perfect platters to put them on.

All the details are impeccable and King George is actually real.

if you stay celebrate and enjoy the french fries and the donuts.

He's the owner's grandfather who owned a laundromat next

and this place is kind of an ode to the owner's childhood,

They do have some evening plans in the work.

Really fun like date night menu with za’atar focaccia almonds and olives…

Right now they're closing at 3:00 because they're selling out super quickly.

So the reco is to come by midday for a champagne brunch

and make sure you try the key lime and brioche doughnut.

If you've been waiting for a sign to spend the day in Tiburon,

I've always been very curious about caviar,

but we did grab a seat outside since it was such a nice day.

We ordered a caviar flight with a few small bite options,

but beware, some of the caviar does pop in your mouth like boba,

we headed to Sam's Cafe for drinks right on the water.

we had to try a few of their fan favorites.

It just felt like the right way to end the day.

This was one of the best ways to spend an

afternoon and I'm now fully manifesting that Tiberal lifestyle.

Half Moon Bay has some of the best nurseries and greenhouses in the Bay Area.

we decided to go check them out and enjoy an amazing lunch at a cozy Mayan restaurant.

A few minutes inland from Highway One is a

hidden gem restaurant that's won awards for Michelin Guide,

Cafe Capistrano is an authentic Mayan restaurant decorated in

an eclectic style with nods to the Yucatan Peninsula.

We started with chips and salsa and a crisp glass of Sauvignon Blanc for only $9.

we ordered the Yucatan plate which comes with a chicken empanada,

The panuchos were so good we had to order an entire plate of just extra pork ones.

we drove a few minutes further to a strip

of greenhouses that houses several different stores to explore.

which is the largest collection of orchids I've ever seen.

you can smell Half Moon Bay lavender before you even walk in.

They have various lavender scented home goods like soap,

which featured tons of Mexican style ceramics and Oaxacan pottery.

there were greenhouses filled with hundreds

and even a collection of carnivorous plants.

Between the 5 greenhouses in this building,

The staff were super knowledgeable about care and very

eager to help you discover a new plant pal

the prices were all reasonable and there were plenty of sales going on.

Area exploration were the perfect Sunday activity.

Head to Saratoga for a moderate 4.7 mile out and back hike,

followed by wine tasting at a nearby vineyard.

The trail starts on a Winery Road and features a gentle climb through a shady forest.

You'll connect to the Skyline Trail which leads you to some scenic views.

you'll enjoy vibrant wildflowers and the sound of a flowing creek.

We enjoyed a tasting flight featuring some delicious blends,

paired with cheese and crackers is was the perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon,

we explored the farm and said hello to a few friendly horses.

and we will definitely be back for a horseback ride.
