• A couple other places to get afternoon tea in LA (only a few of many!): For an even bigger splurge, The Living Room at the legendary Hotel Bel-Air serves afternoon tea every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 3pm. For a super unique experience, the Huntington Gardens has a tea room in the middle of its rose gardens 🌹 and it’s exactly as romantic as it sounds; it’s $64 - $77 per person depending on which tea service you choose.

I have to tell you about the afternoon tea

at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Bungalows in Santa Monica.

It's on Saturdays and you'll head to the iconic hotel’s

library and fountain room and have the cutest setup with gorgeous china.

You'll choose your tea and get a freshly brewed

pot while you get your three course meal.

scones with fresh preserves and clotted cream,

but I have to say I'm still thinking about those scones and some of the mini pastries.

Take a zen hike on the Betty B Dearing Mountain Trail and end up in a peaceful clearing

Betty B Dearing Mountain Trail

I went on the cutest dog friendly hike this weekend and had the most peaceful time.

I took my dog Granola with me and we started the hike off strong.

The hike was moderate to hard depending on where you started from,

I stumbled upon a swing and a little creek,

and it was the cutest clearing to spend some solo time.

I would highly recommend this hike in Studio City.

I checked out the coolest coffee shop in Melrose for the first time,

I asked the barista to surprise me based on what I like,

and they made me a Spanish latte with cold foam.

Might be the best cold foam I've ever had,

calming and just perfect for getting work done and just chilling.

And my absolute favorite part were these records that we got to listen to and

I love that they had all of our favorite artists. It’s giving cozy, creative energy.

Definitely the kind of place to romanticize your weekend.

Take a day trip to Santa Barbara for shopping and wine tasting

Here's everything I ate and did in a day in Santa Barbara.

I started off at Augie’s with some shrimp tacos.

Then we checked out all the shops on State Street.

We walked into a few pottery shops with the cutest home decor finds.

And then we stopped by my favorite thrift shop,

Then I needed a little pick me up and stop to get some coffee

before heading over to Pali Wine Co where we did an estate tasting.

Head to the Arts District to visit one of Zinc Cafe's

lovely locations, with an inviting plant-filled courtyard patio in back.

Their coffee and drinks start your meal off strong,

With a menu full of fresh takes on your sweet and savory faves,

a monthly market with vintage to new and custom,

all in plus sizes and for a lot of great deals you won't want to miss out on!

I know I always leave with something special.

and the selection of snack vendors on site are on point every time.
