Visiting Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden might be one of

the best things I've done since moving to Portland,

especially considering the fact that admission is less

You just purchase tickets at the entrance when you get there,

so no worries about buying tickets in advance,

Their website says that the rhododendrons and

and I think that the best time to see them is in May.

and it seems like everything was in full bloom.

I'm so sure that this garden is beautiful year-round though.

I'll definitely come prepared for a picnic.

If you're looking for a spot to eat before or after,

This amazing food cart pod is only seven-ish minutes away.

They have plenty of outdoor and indoor seating.

They also have a cafe and a bank vault that pays homage to the

US bank that was once here and the heist that occurred there in 2010.

There's also a game room that looks super fun.

I'd guess there's around like 20 food carts,

My partner got a massage and afterwards he legit said that his

This place opened a few months ago and is gorgeous!

We got the Ashwaganda Latte and Americano with added mushroom blend.

What's so great about this coffee bar is that you can

mix and match your drinks to make it what you want,

whether it be adding espresso to a mushroom forward drink

or adding the mushroom blend to a regular coffee order,

we got a Caramel Pecan Wafer Cake and their top-rated Cottage Cheese Pancakes.

The Cottage Cheese Pancakes had fresh fruit and a lemon drizzle,

this felt like a great place to hang out and try something new.

I loved the vibe here and there were so many unique options for drinks,

You'll know you found the right spot when

you step into this futuristic looking hallway.

and I really love all the nods towards travel and the architecture and decor.

I also loved all the natural light from the skylights as well as the floor

to ceiling windows that gave us panoramic views of downtown and the East Side.

Every drink we tried was delicious and so unique and honestly,

which made for a really great environment.

They sometimes do pop-ups like this cherry blossom one from when we went,

but it's also open year-round with their regular setup.
