Needed a change of scenery for my work-from-home day, so I posted up at Marshall’s Landing in River North ☕️✨ The huge windows overlooking the river, comfy seating, and quiet weekday atmosphere made it the perfect spot to get things done. Their café has great coffee, too — I went for a pumpkin chai latte and could’ve stayed all day!

Marshall’s Landing 

I'm always on the hunt for good work from home spots,

and I found a pretty good one in River North.

is so big that it once had its own postal code.

and then you'll get to Marshall's Landing.

I went to their coffee bar and grabbed an iced pumpkin chai latte,

that was absolutely delicious and perfect for the fall.

Then I had to choose where I wanted to sit.

They even had the Cubs game playing when I was there,

I found a seat and got some really productive work done.

I just had the perfect staycation and have to share it so you can do it too.

We spent a night at the Viceroy Hotel in Gold Coast.

Their rooms feel luxurious and the hotel has

several amenities that add to its elevated feel,

so we knew that this would be the perfect staycation hotel and major

bonus points for the candy cart that greeted us in the lobby.

so I finished up some work while enjoying their

then we checked into our room and had these cute welcome treats waiting,

I absolutely loved being able to see the lake.

We got ready for dinner and then dined at their restaurant,

and I highly recommend the Greek salad and truffle potatoes,

The purpose of our staycation was to switch up our routine and lean into wellness.

A bubble bath is the ultimate form of self-care for me.

I started the next morning with a walk along the lake since it was so close,

and then got a Fruit Loop matcha at Fox Trot nearby.

I've been super into roller ball perfumes and I got to curate my perfect fall scent.

You get to smell all of the different flavors and options

they have and then create your combination under their guidance.

And it was just so nice to go and do something crafty after work.
