Step inside Beity, a cozy and elegant Lebanese restaurant. I went with a friend and we tried their Not Your Teta’s Tasting Menu—a curated, multi-course meal. It had everything from mezze to multiple mains and wine pairings.

My friend and I started with their cocktails,

Both the chef and the sommelier were so wonderful

and knowledgeable about each of the courses and wine pairings that we had.

Each sip of the wine complimented each of the bites so well,

and this is actually my first tasting menu,

From the me to the final bites of dessert,

It's a shared experience full of generosity,

Breakfast at La Fournette  

The best way to start your summer weekends is with

a 6:00 a.m. Pilates class right by Lake Michigan.

It's hosted every Friday in the summers at Oak Street Beach.

My roommate and I went together and were blown away by how many people attended.

I think this day there were close to 2000 attendees.

followed by socializing and sometimes giveaways.

so I wouldn't worry if you're not a Pilates pro.

in Old Town where we grabbed some pastries,

and just hung out and enjoyed our Friday morning.
